Topic: MKW Jan/Feb Competition

Yea I start auto for a little, but went back soon afterwords. It did seem easier. I've been trying tricks too. Hopefully I'll make it a little better soon. I don't wan't to waste all day at it. I was kind of venting, i guess, on that last post. Thanks Mange.

I've actually never used automatic, because it wasn't an option in Double Dash. I'll give it a try... but manual will always reign supreme.

I'm in the 47 range now. I went and did auto. in regular racing and combat i use manual. it was less stressfull only having to worry about direction and not bumping into things. Little harder to control when trying to do wheels (plus you have to get the sliding right).

Soo... where are you then?

Thanks for the reminder Mange. Cut my time to 44.9 which I'm fairly happy with. I find this one most frustrating! :/

@longtimegamer: Was it really necessary to beat me? How did you drift, manual or automatic?

From the looks of it, it's probably a bike only tournament on Sherbet Land with more obstacles, similar to the Bowser's Castle one earlier back. The added wooden crate is a big giveaway along with the trio of penguins.

@Mange: I tried both (Usually manual in regular games), but i did that score with Auto. I really would have liked to have done a high score in manual, but it was easier, more fun, and less frustrating this way for me( though i really would rather been able to do so well in manual). Plus not enough time to keep trying manual. Just not quite good enough yet.

Edit: Noticed you haven't updated the last scores yet.

Did update the scores a while ago in post 2. These are the figures I got on my system. Just rechecked and no changes since last time. As usual I´ll recheck the times in a day or two. The update pace of Competitions Rankings sure is slow as...

Yay 6 points. Did better then I thought. Had at first a real hard time to get under 50 sec, and almost threw the wheel at my TV a couple of times. But took a deep breath and played again.

@Mange: About this new 'online section'. Just stay here, and the next comp I will place in the new bit. cool?

Still gutted the next one is bikes btw. FFS! I'll pwn it, but won't enjoy it! Bikes Suck!!!

@AndyK81: Playing MKW you sure need a good chunk of air sometimes.

@Machu: I´ll stay here as long as I´m entitled. I hope they don´t lock it up. If they want to move it... fine... but why??

Nah we are cool dude, they won't touch it. As for the race one, I don't know what to suggest. :/

I´ll try the other controllers, wiimote+nunchuck or classic controller. Steering a bike with the WiiWheel just don´t feel right.
