Topic: Me and my friend buy bad games and surprise eachother with them, but i think we unintentionally found a gem.

However, this week my friend and i may have accidentally discovered a gem. My friend purchased the game Death Jr: Root of all evil. Initially, as always, my expectations were very low, but as i started playing i realized that this game was actually pretty entertaining! The games pivotal character is, of course, Death. Jr you have to save your dad from a female version of the Jolly Green Giant that entraps Death in vines at a fast food restaurant. I know the premise is absolutely ridiculous, but I'm pretty sure that was the intention. You can tell its trying for that Tim Schafer Grim Fandango vibe and unfortunately it doesn't entirely hit the mark. Despite all that this game is pretty cool if you're into old school platformers. As i was playing i realized that there weren't many 3D platformers around, so it was rather refreshing to see and play one. At anytime you can whip out twin gats and start blasting on enemies, but unfortunately that mechanic isnt the most smooth especially since it relies on motion controls which isn't the most responsive at times. Despite that it was actually entertaining. If you're interested in seeing some gameplay i will post a video of me and my friend playing it.
