I'm enjoying this game so far, except that I've only been able to play as Batman and Robin up to this point. My favorite line was in a news report where they took a dig at Batman: Arkym City (or however you spell it). It went something like "And now we once again question the wisdom of holding all the city's super villians in the same place. At least the warden's plan to keep them in a walled off section of the city has been put on hold. That would never have turned out well."

Anyway, I'm stuck on the part of Level 4 just after the first checkpoint. I need Batman's Stealth Suit and Robin's Hazard Suit to proceed, but I can only figure out how to access Batman's Electricity Suit and Robin's Ice and Acrobat Suits right now. What do I do?

By the way, Batman and Robin seem to have dropped their oaths against killing. So far I've found ways to blow up bad guys with mini bombs, electrocute them, and freeze them in a block of ice then shattering them.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Don't suppose you could tell me if the Wii game is open world?

Also, please let us know if you find any bugs (glitches). The first Lego Harry Potter game (Years 1 - 4) was great but it was absolutely chock full of bugs. Epic failure to adequately test the game before releasing it.

Put your analyst on danger money, baby.

Well I picked up the 3DS version today after playing and enjoying the demo. I wont be playing it till Sunday when I will be taking a 3 hour train ride to Santa Cruz so I wont be able to tell anything about it till then.

@Nick-Clegg Yes, the Wii version is open world.

@WaveBoy Well, for one thing, this one tells an original story, which is why they added real voice acting to this one, as they felt the first Lego Batman suffered from trying to tell an original story with nothing but grunts and groans. Like I mentioned above, it's an open world game like Lego Harry Potter instead of just having a hub with level selections and bonus rooms. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this one has the widest range of abilities yet, whether they're ingrained powers like with Superman or accessed via different suits like with Batman and Robin. Oh yeah, this is also the first themed Lego game with mid-level checkpoints. You no longer have to either play the whole level at once or start over from the very beginning, which comes in handy if you get stuck somewhere like I currently am.

Wait a minute @BulbasaurusRex. How can it be an open world game and at the same time have mid-level checkpoints???

Is the 3ds version worth it?
I tend to like 3ds games and play them more often, because they are nice and portable?
Or is it just better to buy the Wii version?
What would you give each of them /10?
Thankss!

Well if you've played any of the Lego games on the 3DS,then I should think the game will be pretty similar to them.

@BulbasaurusRex
Thanks for telling me that.

I'll probably buy this at the weekend,Tesco are selling it for £22 with a free Lego Toy,which is really cheap.

Like Lego Harry Potter, there are set levels that advance the story, which are accessed by traveling through the open world of Gotham City.

Well, I'm done with the first 5 chapters and have unlocked Superman and Captain Boomerang (a Flash villian of Austrailian descent who's an expert with his obvious weapon of choice). I'm surprised that they included a C List villian like him.

I got the game on Sunday, and while I haven't done many of the chapters(I'm on 3 or 4,I think),it's an incredibly fun game.
I'm spending most of my time in the open world, driving cars into the water, beating up Robin, and collecting collectables.
This is the best Lego game ever.

I really love all of the Lego games, but whats holding me back from all of them. Is the constant glitching and freezing. On PS2 I own Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Batman and all three have freezed multiple times. TT games for some reason does not release patches even for the HD console versions. They seem to claim nothing is wrong with their engine and until the engine is fixed, I will not buy any more Lego games despite being extremley fun to play. I just don't want to deal with unplugging the console and resetting it every time it freezes. I usually do not like the portable versions either, but I hear the freeze also.

Well I played the 3DS while I was on the train ride to Santa Cruz and I have to say I am impressed with this game. I have never played any of the Lego games on the 3DS or DS just on the Gamecube, PS2 and the Xbox 360. It plays alot like the older Lego games with a central hub and I did find it easy (but what Lego isnt) but over all its a great game on the 3DS if you have been looking for a portable Lego game than look no further. Now I cant compare the 3DS version to the console versions since I have not played the console version of Lego Batman 2.

Interesting. I own all three Star Wars LEGO games, and also owned the first Batman LEGO and Indy LEGO games, and never had any of them freeze or crash at all. I have them all on XBox; perhaps the PS ports in particular are wonky?

Meanwhile, i'm going to pick up this game eventually; maybe this weekend.

I've never had any technical problems with the Wii versions of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga nor this game, and Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 just has a bunch of glitches, not freezing issues.

I have Lego Starwars on Gamecube, Lego Starwars II on PS2, both Lego Indiana Jones and the first Lego Batman on the 360 and I have never had any issues with any of those games. I have also played both Lego Harry Potters and didnt experience any problems with that either perhaps its your system.
