Topic: Least anticipated hyped games

Two games getting a fair amount of press at the moment are Gladiator AD and too a lesser extent TMNT Smash Up. I cant express just how awful both these games look to me, Gladiator in particular. In both cases the concept sounded ok but the video I've seen so far have looked atrocious. TMNT is due out this Autumn and the visuals look seriously sub par. The best comment I've heard about Gladiator was on these boards where one cheeky get asked was it turn based, certainly looks like it might be, even in the most recent vids.

So my question is what hyped games that everyone else lost their minds over were you most "Meh" for?

Metroid: Other M.

I kid, I kid. The Grinder. It looks okay, but so far I'm unimpressed.

Super Mario Galaxy 2.
I really don't know what the big deal was with Super Mario Galaxy in the first place, and, while I will eventually buy SMG2, I'm not all that excited about it.

Noire

In general, any FPS. Right now its the Conduit.

Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Same here PhoenixSage. I wish FPS's were never invented.

Noire

Couldn't agree with you more, Jerichoholic Josh. I can't stand playing them.

I agree about Gladiator A.D. and I second The Conduit.

Okay, number 1, everyone has central heating, number 2, if the Xbox didn't exist then console online would suck, and number 3, the Xbox isn't a game. So there.

The Grinder and NSMB. Gladiator isn't being hyped so it's not a valid answer.

Now Playing: Bioshock

but it's a "game" console.

Ok. That was only a joke about the xbox. But Pretty funny. It is a suicide console of the sixth generation. Just look at how many crashed. Not a good system. Trust me.

Is it anticipated though? See, you didn't think this through fully.

Well I wasn't excited about that New Super Mario Bros. for Wii. It looks like the same thing. What is with Nintendo and Mario games lately. I hope they don't pull the same stunt as Sega with Sonic.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, which is sad because up until recently Zelda was my favorite franchise of ALL time.

Mario Kart Wii
Super Smash Brothers Brawl (though I may end up experiencing the hype since I cannot see chucking the game in the bin and I cannot find anyone who wants to buy a Japanese version of the game or even trade for it!)

Excuse me? NSMB is the first console Mario sidescroller in ages. You must really despise the old Mario games.

I don't like FPS either. They all look the same to me.

Why the FPS hate? I don't own any, but the ones I've played have been fun.

@LinktotheFuture: You're very wrong. I've seen lots of variety in FPS's. And... it's a genre. All the games in a genre "look" pretty much the same. You have to experience them to differentiate.
