Topic: Koopalings or Bowser Jr. in Super Mario Galaxy 2?

Bowser Jr. was in Super Mario Galaxy. Since the Koopalings return in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, it could mean that they are back to replace Bowser Jr. What do you all think? Will they also be in Super Mario Galaxy 2?

Woah, I didn't know this! I can imagine them now though with the obviously marvelous graphics as seen through online-videos. (Actually, I recall now seeing Wendy Koopa, in one E3 video)

Maybe,not replace Bowser Jr. but its nice to know we get a chance to experience their presence, which is further like Super Mario Bros. 3! (Bowser Jr. used Airships and the musical theme there was inspiring)

I say more Super Mario World, but it's okay if its Bowser Jr. for SMG2.

Why can't we have both the Koopalings and Bowser Jr? They are siblings after all.

Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings can't coexist in the same game. (Unless you count the F.L.U.D.D. introduction in Super Mario Sunshine.)

I wouldn't mind them sharing the spotlight. I love Bowser Jr. AND the Koopalings, though I prefer the Koopalings.

Those old Bowser kids were awesome. But they might as well put in the lame Bowser Jr. too just to have an extra boss.

i like them all... can't we have them all show up? if not, though, at least the Koopalings will be making an appearance in NSMBWii. :3

Definitly the Koopalings over Bowser Jnr. I never liked that Bowser Jnr character. Never.

No, guys. What I meant to say is that it's Nintendo-physically impossible to have both generations in the same game. They didn't have the same mother...

There's no reason we couldn't have both. In Super Mario Galaxy 2 though, it would seem like a lost opportunity to have a bunch of Koopaling bosses, with steadly increasing similar patterns, in place of a similar line of the excellent varied bosses that was seen in the first Galaxy. Of course if they can work in both, heck yeah!

Gaah!!! What I'm saying is that Nintendo made the abomination that is Bowser Jr. to replace the Koopalings for the new audience being introduced to Sunshine. The Koopalings are too many and too complicated for the kids.

I don't think anything gets replaced in the Mario series. Things we think have long gone often pop up in the newer games - Bowser's flying ships, the Super Mario flower power-up and the old-style "2D platforming" are just a few of the things I can think of off the top of my head that return in Mario Galaxy after being absent for a long time.

Hell even Birdo has become a popular character again thanks to the newer Mario Kart games.

if this is true, then why are they bringing the Koopalings back for NSMBWii? Isn't the target audience for that game going to be 'the kids' as well?

Bowser Jr. is NOT an abomination! I would like to see all of Bowser's happy family in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
However,I think we will only see Bowser Jr. in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Presumably, they ('the kids') would have already heard about and get it (Bowser Jr.) by now (with Wii-generation)! lol

Bowser Jr. is actually pretty darn with it.
He's said he'd try it again (get that Mario, after SMS, in SMG, though it could be another realm)

We got to take 'breaks' from the kooplings.
And now they're even like extra special in some ways.

Its also about the experience of just playing the games,
and not just some linear-clear-story-path.

I would like them (Kooplings) to be like the SMB3 transition to SMW,
anyway the creators have in store, at least I wouldn't have to go through
the process myself (to enjoy and have surprises)!
