Do you think the art style should come back in future Kirby games? Or was one game enough? Did you find it appealing, or just too "childish" to handle?
I personally love the visual style of the game. It's extremely unique and it suits the game's atmosphere well. And the beautiful music on top of that is just icing on the cake, a delicious vanilla cake wrapped in Kirby goodness.
Mind you, I haven't played the game yet. I've seen plenty of "Let's Play" videos on Youtube to get a good idea of what the game is about. From what I've seen it looks fantastic. Childish yes, but it's just so imaginative and filled with personality.
Is the game worth it? I know Kirby doesn't have his inhale or copy abilities, but that's not a big deal for me.
The art style is fantastic. All of the music fits perfectly, and every little detail brings the atmosphere to life. It's one of the best-looking and sounding games I own.
...but I have to be honest, I don't like anything else about it.

So the actual gameplay is bad then? The game is only worth it for the visuals and music?

This Man knows what's up.
But nahh Kirby is alll about changing forms. Wouldn't mind a game just using the prince guy.

The prince character was originally supposed to be the main character, but HAL Labs suggested they put Kirby in the game cause it looked similar to the series.

Nintendo does that for a lot of games. start off with an Original IP and then shoehorn mario or Kirby in when they want to make some money. (half of that is due to the fact that kriby works on every level.)

Nintendo didn't make the game. Good-Feel did. But yes it was Nintendo's idea to add Kirby as the main character.
Look at the two, they look pretty much identical.
When I first saw the prince, he looked like a Kirby clone to me. And Kirby just fits with the game's atmosphere.
I wasn't convinced at first, but then I played it in two players mode and I really liked it. The two player thing makes it a bit more challenging etc. It's not an "universal" game — its mood and slow pace might not appeal to everyone, but it's surely one of the games we Wii owners should be proud of. And yes, I wouldn't mind Nintendo giving Good-Feel the blessing to apply the same art style to another one of their franchises (Yoshi?!), I appreciated how creative they've been with this.
Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

Yoshi's Story already had a similar art style.
Nintendo should just buy out Good-Feel and Next Level Games. They could really use more developer support. Sony does it all the time, and look how massive their development resources are.
please don't let YellowChocobo / WaltzElf read this, he'll just argue with me again

When you say something that makes sense, there's no need for me to correct you

Sony fails. Just look at Microsoft, they're the best without buying out everything under the moon. Also Apple, but Apple should just buy out Nintendo. It'd be a good move

You do realize apple bought two separate companies that worked on siri and the muti-tasking right. Also Microsoft bought Skype acouple of months ago and twisted pixel last week.
