Topic: Call of Duty: Black Ops Kills

I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I way too many times !!just finished three games in which I had over 12 kills each time but only got credit for 5, 4 and 6 respectively. What is the problem??? Plus the server is lost

It has happened in just about every scenario and has begun to happen more frequentlu. It gets discouraging especially after a good game and to see that you got 4 or 5 kills. The most recent one was in Nuketown

No, I meant which game, but I see you're talking about Call of Duty: Black Ops.

You sure you're not mistaking assists for kills? Or maybe you're mistaking total points or something for the number of kills? In that case, it would be your kills subtract your deaths.

I'm not mistaking assists for kills but are you saying that if I got 15 kills and 10 deaths that I would only show 5 kills at the end of the game?

If you had 15 kills and 10 deaths your kill/death ratio would be +5 for that match.

And that would be the number that would show up as kills and not the actual kills? Sorry about the misunderstanding.

There should be a list of things (I haven't played that game, but I have played MW2). There should be kills on the list by itself, deaths on the list by itself, kill/death ratio, points if there are points in that game, and whatever else. There should be a seperate list for kills. Maybe you just didnt do as good as you thought you did in those games (j/k)

Yes, there is a separate list for kills and I have kept count and they don't tally up. I will let this rest but I appreciate your reply. I just feel this is a glitch but it is just a game and no big deal. I just enjoy it even though I am a number of years past being a teenager..It is really a game of reactions and I am not as quick as most of the players. It is fun to see the different weapons and I guess that is why I keep playng is to see what I can get next. Thanks again for the replies, Josh, and have fun gaming.

Don't thank me, thank Ravage. But if there is something up with it I'd try to find out if you possibly can, more people may come along in this thread and know what the dealio is too. You have fun as well.

Is there a scoreboard in this version? You should be able to see all the player's names and usually a statistic for the current game. I think it is usually a player's number of kills. If you can check this after you get a confirmed kill, you can check the scoreboard to see if it counted.

y2 is correct about more people, there aren't all that many around at this time lol especially in NA region (6 AM in my time zone, oops )

I am not aware of a scoreboard that can be accessed during the game; only afterward. I will try it, however, but there is a lot that I don't know about COD. There does seem to be a lot of NA gamers online, though, especially after hours. If I run into you during a game, be kind and don't mess me up too bad! See ya' later.
