...I'm really excited for the next 4 days that we have it. The motion controls (minus the balance board) feel amazing - I've pwned everyone with them all the way up to Don Flamenco. The game just oozes personality and production, and I can't stop staring wide-eyed at the animation. This is by far the most fun game I've played on Wii. The only down is the multiplayer - which is okay, but not a selling point.
To fans of the original Punch Out: They really added quite a few new moves to the boxers. Most of them you still beat the same way, but the new attacks add some additional challenge for veterans. Don Flamenco and Great Tiger are a lot harder than in the original.
The Balance Board support was terrible. I was really disappointed with it. But it's probably just as well as when I was using the board, I found myself concentrating more on that than throwing punches.
I played it at a friend's house, it's the first Punch Out!! I've played. I really enjoyed it. The trainer mentions chocolate a lot, which was weird.
I've noticed that. Also, between rounds, don't press A. Just watch the screen for a while. You'll see your trainer look around the room as though he doesn't know where he is.
My friend and I came to the conclusion that he's mentally ill.
I loved the NES game and I'd love to get this, but I fear for the replay value. Punch Out Wii is $67.56 here in Mexico, so I'm considering renting it before I buy it.

That IS expensive, but I still play the NES version to this day, and I played the SNES version endlessly when I was a kid (haven't bought it on VC yet though, I admit)...and I believe Punch Out Wii will be similarly re-playable. First of all, it's got at least 4 unlockable modes that, as far as I'm aware, NOBODY has completed yet. Then each fighter has a total of 6 "achievements"/"challenges"/"whatever" that you can fight in special ways to unlock.
The only thing I don't like is that you need to start a brand new profile if you want to fight from the ground up. I sort of dislike starting at the fighter who knocked you out...it was more fun in the NES (and ultimately made you a better fighter) to have to work your way back up.
That's my only complaint though. The game is great.
I just had an epic bout with Soda Popinski, and I barely won by decision. My arms are aching, but I feel good all over.

It makes sense to do it with way - just because you were knocked out by someone ranked higher than you doesn't mean you should fall back a rank.

Te lo vendo en $600 pesos
How can you have $ and pesos, it's redundant.
When you are doing a deal nothing is redundant my little one.
