Topic: IGN's Top 25 Wii Games

We know we know, but I just think Kirby's Return to Dreamland is excellent.

and I was saying to Happy_Mask basically that I care.

I have all of them except Tatsunoko... Certainly going to add it now...

And I agree with most of this list, but since I can't say anything about Tatsunoko I'd change it for Other M.

The Last Story ranked one spot higher than Xenoblade? Agree.

I also agree it should be on the list, and so should Zack & Wiki.
But the list is surpirsingly not that bad, I'd expect worse from IGN. I even agree with 1st spot _{why is NSMBW is in there though, wtf D:}

1. The multiplayer is excellent.
2. It's a Mario platformer.
3. People hate creative games on Wii more often than not.

NSMB Wii makes the list,yet Rayman Origins doesn't.
Something isn't right here.

I would personally put Xenoblade Chronicles up top, though I have not played The Last Story yet. New Super Mario Brothers Wii deserves no Top 10 position unless the ranking is done by someone who has only played 10 Wii games. Their DS game rankings were a lot better.

Are you sure about that? The multiplayer in Rayman Origins was a huge let down and no one likes being forced to backtrack through old levels collecting more lums just to get to the end of the game. Chasing those treasure chests was pretty hellacious too. I mostly enjoyed the single player game myself, but I can understand why it's not on this list.

Oh, I didn't realize I was "no one". Is that my nickname, because that would be quite rude. (well the being FORCED to backtrack part I'm indifferent to instead of having any opinion on it in this game but whatever)

I'm not normally a fighting game kind of guy, but I really enjoy Tatsunoko (although I still haven't sunk a huge amount of time into it). It's nice that you can display the combos on the screen in order to aid learning a new character, and the tag system is pretty cool. (Keep in mind I pretty much haven't played a fighter since the SNES Mortal Kombat, so that stuff might be standard these days).

I think it's a game I'd be happy to spend time learning the ins and outs of.

Rayman Origins is a must for the list and if you're surprised at the absence of KRTD just rememer that they gave it a 7 or 7.5 so yeah.

Kirby's Epic Yarn, A Boy and His Blob, and Rayman Origins are just a few that would have been in my list. I spent hundreds of hours playing TvC. Such an amazing game. I have a lot of good memories playing some of the best players in the world. I'm also a big fan of both Excite games as well as GoldenEye. Haven't played Little King's Story yet, but it's sitting on my shelf.

I'd kick Xenoblade Chronicles so far from my top 25 list it isn't funny. The last time I was this disappointed in a game was when I played The Conduit. (shudders)

As a multiplayer game, I enjoyed it more than NSMBW.
