Topic: How Long Before "Even Newer Play Control" Games "Now work with Wii Motion Plus" Games are released?

I think it will happen, and then a couple of months later they'll release Pikmin again with a new ceremonial hat.

Nasty Nintendo forcing us to buy all these cheap remakes. Damn you Nintendo! If you force me to buy Pikmin again I'll scream!

Fortunately Pikmin and Metroid are mostly IR control rather than motion, but who knows... Mario Tennis could get an Even Newer Play Control, Seriously! edition.

Nahh, I think the NPC titles are just some quicky cash. We'll see more new Mario sports games after M+ is out. Bring on Hockey and Tennis!

I g2bh I will be buying some NPC games for the simple reason I missed a few the first time round and I'm assuming they will be better with NPC im talking bout pikmin 1 and 2 mainly

That said, Pikmin 2 is quite rare these days and is the better of the two...

NPC titles are obviously meant as padding for times when projects take longer than excepted. Iwata pretty much said this during his interview about Wiinoma. Supposedly nearly all projects for Q1 / Q2 failed to meet their original release dates.

I doubt they will release Even Newer Play Control games, if they release any more NPC games at all (since the last of them have now been announced for Japan), but if they were to recontinue the range again, there's nothing stopping them from doing this - even though it will not feature the "Even Newer" part of the title.
