The Master Sword isn't suppose to be in Zelda 1 and 2. LTTP "And the Master Sword sleeps again... Forever!" LTTP "The Master Sword will be placed back into the pedestal, never to be used again."
You do realize that back when Zelda 1 and 2 were made, Miyamoto didn't even think about the Master Sword. He just wanted to make a fun little hack-n-slash game with adventure/RPG elements.
So you're saying that ALTTP is the last Zelda game chronologically? I thought Twilight Princess was?
Finally found it! Bam! http://www.zeldadungeon.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Fail-S... This thing is failsafe. Those are confirmed to be in that order. One ones on the right have no concrete placement and are up for debate except for Fourswords Adventures. Though by default that would mean the other 2 go before it.
The only games that are iffy are the ones NOT made by Nintendo.
You are going to want to play those games again. Or at least look at the intro.
Right after Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass starts. It's the same Link and Tetra, along with her pirates.
Link's Bio Phantom Hourglass "Link is at sea with his friend Tetra and her pirate friends. The game takes place just three months after Link’s epic journey in the Wind Waker, thus his cell-shaded form has returned. Link and Tetra begin the quest searching for the Ghost Ship in hopes to find some treasure. Tetra is captured and Link is quick to chase after her."
Spirit Tracks happens 100 years after that where they find an island to settle on and claim it as New Hyrule. Establishing a new Kingdom. These are not the same Zelda and Link.
Zelda's Bio Spirit Tracks "Zelda is the princess of the Royal Family of Hyrule and a descendent of Princess Zelda from the Wind Waker. Princess Zelda suspects that Chancellor Cole is involved with the recent disappearance of the Spirit Tracks that seal away the Demon King. After Princess Zelda slips Link a note so that the two could meet in private, they escape the castle and begin a journey to the Tower of Spirits."
I don't mean the CDi games and such I ment the Flagship titles.
But Nintendo did oversee their development. The Oracle games might be tied with Link's Awakening and A Link to the Past, since the artwork highly resembles those games.
I didn't say they don't count but those are the only iffy ones.
I think so too. The Linked ending of the Oracle games has Link leaving on a boat similar to the one he was sailing in Link's Awakening.
The requirements for Link's Awakening were that Link left on a boat to train for future threats and it was after Ganon was killed. That still fits, the only thing is that Zelda doesn't recognize Link.
In the Oracles Ganon is dead and it's after the Triforce has been united. Which happens after LTTP. (Or could be after Zelda 2, both which have those 2 same incidents.
In all honesty, I know that nintendo has an official zelda timeline, but I can't take it seriously. I take every zelda game for what is is, and disregard the timeline.
