Good night everyone.
This past day I've been trying to run Final Fantasy VII on my Wii but with no sucess.
The game is always crashing and I tried everything but I don't see where else to turn to. That's why I registered in nintendolife hoping someone could help me.
Heres a pic of the error: http://tinypic.com/r/3143rzn/8
Error: Exception (ISI) occurred
Basically I start the game normally and everything is fine. I enter the game and I can start playing right away walking, running but when I get to the first fight scene, the game crashes. (For those who played ff7 know which scene I'm talking about)
I do have my sd card in order with all my folders. A bios folder with "SCPH1001.BIN", an isos folder with my game (.bin), and a save folder to save my progress.
I really don't know what's wrong. I tried deleting everything and reinstalling, I tried to manually install, install with homebrew, tried 3 different isos and different bios.
Please if someone can help me I would be so grateful.
The game costs like 10 bucks and is available on about 8 different platforms. Quit being cheap.
"But I can't afford to buy video games!"
Then you have the wrong hobby, my friend.
But if that's really the case, you better off sticking to mobile games.
Even with the latest version of WiiSX, Final Fantasy VII crashes during any battle whenever you're on Dynarec mode. For the most part, keep leaving at Interpreter mode and revert it back to Dynarec whenever you encounter a situation that would cause the game to crash while you're in Interpreter mode.
Where my friends and I usually get stupid:
