Mario Strikers Charged is pretty good online and so is ExciteBots. Finally, I've had some fun with TMNT: Smash-Up even though it's tougher to find opponents online. Unfortunately, without Wii Speak support I find that online play really isn't that exciting.

This next batch of games does support Wii Speak, and offer some different online experiences: Animal Crossing, Endless Ocean 2, and The Conduit.

Monster hunter tri and Mario kart wii are pretty good,no, REALLY good online games. Brawl can be laggy, though.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, would you kindly?

FF:CC: Echoes of Time is a good game but considering it's a DS port you're probably best off experiencing it on the DS.

Water Warfare is excellent if you can get a match together.

WiiWare:
Tetris Party is good. There is always some one to pay against. You may want to wait for the new one.

The matchmaking for Tetris Party is non-existent so you rarely get well-balanced matches, and the points system for playing online is badly broken... but there are lots of people ready to compete and it's always fun to play (even if ranking numbers aren't useful). Good call!

Seeing Water Warfare listed earlier reminds me of it's predecessor, Onslaught -- it was a pretty good online option too, with co-op play for the regular missions and competitive challenges that players can take on also (although no direct player-vs-player fighting if I remember correctly).

Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is good online, but it's better with local multiplayer due to some lag mixed with the precise nature of the fighting game genre.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is great with a lot of people. Snowboard Riot is fun too but I'm not sure how active people are these days.

Monster Hunter Tri does a really good job of hiding lag. I've tried playing the game while having torrents running and there's almost no difference in the gameplay. Sometimes the boss or other players will jump position but not frequently. I'm surprised how good the network coding in it is. It reminds me of the old 56k days with Starsiege: Tribes and Phantasy Star Online lol.

I like Pokemon Revolution's online, but Tri right now is King of Online Wii Games.

Do all of these games besides Monster Hunter require friend codes? Even Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom? Hows the matchmaking for that game anyways, I want to play online but fear that I'll get beatdown pretty bad.
