I still play on the original Wii...
Well Wii games. Especially Go Vacation by Namco, my favourite game of all time. GET THIS GAME!!!

4(5) large, free roam, environments with 4 player split screen. Customise your character or play as your Mii. It covers so many genres too.
3rd person shooter, Sega Rally and Ridge Racer, Light sabre duels, massive scuba diving, Skiing, skate boarding, customise your own villas.
The graphics still function nicely with great attention to detail.
When you consider this game is running on tech similar to GC/PS2 and modern games don't offer as much freedom as this. You'll wonder why.

I compare every game there after to this game.
What I'd like to see is a similar concept with MMO and local multiplayer

How will you be remembered?

Namco made 2 other pretty nice Wii games before Go Vacation: "Family Ski" (We Ski) and "Family Ski + Snowboard".
They too have that openworld free roaming adventure gameplay, as they're made by the same team.
They're not as huge as Go Vacation, but they really nailed the atmosphere of a holiday resort in those games.

Haha, that game's pretty awesome. Most people would dismiss it as some more Wii shovelware, but it's actually pretty deep, and although I wouldn't consider it the best game ever, it's definitely underrated.

I would pay 60 dollars for a Wii U version with online that uses the new Mii format. You don't even need to remake the graphics, just use the full (1080p/720p) resolution.

Had I known it was by Namco, I would've looked into it. Thanks for the heads up, I'll see if I can grab it cheap someday. Does it use the Balance Board a lot, though? I don't have one of those (nor do I have room to use one).

i can vouch for this. think 4 player open world(4 worlds based on the seasons) and a bunch of activities. tons of replay value if you want to unlock everything(i did, took 70hrs i think) and an awesome multiplayer experience. imagine GTA online, with splitscreen and no blood and you`re just about there.

i have some really great stories from playing multiplayer in it. once, the two other players were playing tag on foot with the 3rd player slowly closing in on player 2. just to be a jerk to player 3, i found a car and drove up towards player 2 and let her in the car and left player 3 to eat our dust. he had been chasing her for several minutes and was finally starting to catch up so he was pretty mad when we left him in the middle of nowhere on foot as we drove away. that event still makes me chuckle

This game looks like an awesome break & causal game, it seems similar to Wii Sports but it appears to have much more depth!
