Topic: Games you aren't allowed to play...

Hey guys, just another question about if there are there any genres you are not allowed to play for one reason or another? List the reason if you want and genres

For me im not encouraged to play (by my parents): FPS, Horror (like resident evil), and gory fighting (like UFC, brawl's ok)

I'm of age and on my own so I can play everything.

im 16 and still im not allowed and if i do since i legally can, they wont like it

gore in the sense that in undisputed when the blood starts coming out and ur pounding the guy until hes unconcious, they dont encourage me to bloody up and knock people unconscious, mainly cuz they said ill think its ok and get into more fights and try to repeat wat ive been playing in real life...is there any excuse a parent cant think of xD

I'm old enough to play whatever I want, but I'm selling an extra copy of MadWorld and a friend of mine wanted to give it to her boyfriend's younger brother, he's 15 and I said NO... not a good idea.

Mad World and House of the Dead because console manufacturers don't allow games that get a rating refused to be released and those two got their rating refused here (also applies to both versions of Dead Rising and games like Gears of War).

Oh and of course we aren't allowed to play Manhunt or Wolfenstein 3D but that part is dictated by the government.

When I was ummmm... "younger" (13/14 I think, not sure) I was not allowed to play the original Mortal Kombat. That sucked.

i did have a copy of Madworld but my dad wanted me to get rid of it....so i sold it and bought Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time

My girlfriend wont let me play Donkey Konga or Donkey Kong Jungle Beat when she is around.

I'm in Mexico, here no one pays attention to ratings, and parents don't care if their 8 year old son plays GTA, I've always been able to play whatever game I want; I'm not sure if that is such a bad thing, of course I wouldn't recommend MadWorld to an 10 year old, but I've always believed the ratings in USA are a bit harsh.
