Hey guys, I just wanted to say that you've been a fantastic bunch. This will be the last time I post in these forums for awhile. Why? Because I'm not too big on negative topics and based on what Nintendo showed at e3 I know there will be a lot of it. While you are a great bunch, I am just going to lay low for a bit on all forums until fanboy hatred dies down. Later.
Abandon hope all ye who enter here.

There was nothing wrong with the press conference, you have to remember, that they can only develop so much at a time, and NIntendo likes to show a product that is almost finish, so it wont dissappoint the fans. Plus the NIntendo is now getting a lot of 3rd party support, did you all see the EA or Ubisoft conference? They just came on to say here is what we have for you now or very soon, more is on it's way from us, enjoy go play now. I liked it a lot, and i didn't expect Team Ninja to work on Metriod, i really didn't see that one coming. Look at the amount of games that were announced for the Wii, did you guys forget them all. Everyone except Adam =P

I still can't understand why! Team Ninja announcing partnership with Nintendo! Remember, Nintendo usually saves their Zelda announcements for the TGS... Metroid Other M made up for everything though, it looks like a Ninja Gaiden Metroid.

Yeah, the IGN comments are terrible (but somewhat humorous in a way)
Because "hardcore" fanboys are idiots LOL.
@brandonbwii - I don't think you have to worry as much about that kind of reaction here. I was very happy with Nintendo's conference personally.

That's nothing. In the comments section of Gamespot's live stream there are like hundreds of images of the "Piccard Facepalm". One guy posted the image five times in one post.

no we just dont wnat dsi mystery games along with some freaking pulse machine
15. Posted: Tue 2nd Jun 2009 20:40 BST
Then don't buy them . Nintendo was talking about appealing to different audiences, you unfortunatly are not part of the audience that the Mystery games and Pulse machine are intended to appeal to. Does Mario, Metroid and Golden Sun appeal to you?

There's a lot of great games coming. I'm happy. And I've never understood why it bothers some people so much when other's complain.

@Deadlax: Geez, there hasn't been three original Mario adventures for a console since the NES. You're getting a brand new Metroid game, not a sequel like what happened for the GameCube. You're getting a new Mario vs. Donkey Kong... for DSiWare.
AND THE YEAR ISN'T EVEN HALFWAY THROUGH YET. ZOMAGODS, how can you be so ungrateful? Like I said earlier, Zelda and/or Star Fox will more than likely be announced at TGS.
Also, why moan about the casual gamers getting something cool? Are you so effing selfish that everything has to be centered around your type of gaming? Get real dude.

Expect a ****load of Youtube rants of Nintendo E3 2009. When I find one, I'll show it to you guys and I'll attack them with my respone to there message. I'll show them that Nintendo E3 2009 is NOT the end of the world. I know what the Wii haters will say. Trust me, I was on G4TV.com and there was a lot of negitive respone. In fact, I decided to make a Youtube video (Which is finished) about NOT complaining about it on a Youtube video or even complaining so much.

somebody said before the new mario galaxy looks exactly like the old one just with Yoshi and i totally believe that. Its up to nintendo to sell themselves and for the company to push more dsi games in my eyes means that they might be too afraid to compete with other platforms that are offering other styles of games. Dont get me wrong Super Mario Galaxy is a great game but this new release is not going to be innovative and with the topic of E3 this year heavily relying upon innovation, i think nintendo fell short (not that sold on wii motion plus). While Xbox and PS are fighting eachother with open end/ sandbox style games (Assasins Creed 2), shooters such as modern warfare 2 and sports games which are all visually stunning, nintendo is pushing dsi games and remakes of games that came out in 1985 with added features such as playing with 3 more people. Dont get me wrong Metriod: The Other M is going to be awesome and I will buy that andWii Sports Resort but overall nintendo did not sell itself that well to its core group of gamers but rather opened their doors to new gamers. That is obvoulsy the plan for them as a business, Its going to be like this with alot of nintendo fans who have been with the francise for years and really want to see what games they want to see such as new F-Zero, Kid Icarus, Pikmin, etc., we should have high expectations for nintendo and for us as the gamer we should always want more than what they give us. If the fans can never be satisfied it will only make nintendo work harder to satisfy us.
I own all three systems and tell you the truth I am not fully satisfied with any of the big three's presentations (I think the Natal sucks big time). I just expected or wanted to expect that Nintendo's would be awesome and in my opinion it was not at all.

Why bother? What does it matter?
