yea but phones get super-expensive

and technically i'd prefer a headset

What does it do? Besides letting you send voice mail to other Wii's.

Edit: I'd also like to say adding FC's and sending mail on the Wii feels like a chore.

Doesn't your house already have a phone though? A cell, a land line, anything?

Here you pay 30 bucks for a lesser way of communicating and only works with Wii consoles and one Wii game.

A phone works with... well... all five trillion other phones.

u can use it like a headset on some online games like Animal Crossing and The Conduit (i think)

but everyone in the room can hear the conversation

it's hard to use a phone while playing a game (depending on the phone design)

Some people might actually prefer not to give out their phone number across the internet. Wii Speak come with it's own channel where you chat with all your Wii friends! As for games, there's The Conduit!

Speaker?

Most phones you touch a single button and BAM! you don't have to hold it or anything. Works just like Wii Speak except better.

Did I mention it works with like 5 trillion other phones?

So people buy this to talk to their internet buddies?

Which means they like each other enough to want to hear each other's voice instead of just see their text, but they don't want to communicate the normal way?

Hahaha! I feel about the same. I don't want to do a bunch of talking and I don't like being talked to while I play my games. And I am not a fan of first person shooters, so there you go

Your phone service charges for use of the speaker?

Jeez, who's your service?

True, and I could always use speaker. However, my friends are usually restricted to cell phones that have a limited charge. Therefore, Wii Speak was a must. As for games. You yourself, Alexsays say you love Animal Crossing. Wii Speak works in that sense. Also, I plan on getting Conduit and Endless Ocean 2 so I'm sure I'll find plenty of use for it.

EDIT: I know this isn't the fc page but I added Sonic1990 to my list. My number is 8016-1532-0713-6037
