I have some interest in this, as I have been wanting a Wii in my bedroom. It has to be at or below $150 though for me, or it's a no deal especially since I've already picked up a Wii U for my family.

Smart move, people buying a Wii will always be more likely to upgrade to a WiiU later anyway since it's backwards compatible and supports the Wii controllers. I wonder how it'll look, if this is true.

One thing that makes me think that this is some kind of rumor is didnt Nintendo say they they were stopping game support for the Wii so they could just concentrate on Wii U games? Kinda makes me wonder why bring out a new version of a system that they wont be making games for.
