I second this. The multi-page write-up they did on the game and the interview with Spector were very thorough and interesting.

I third this. That was a great article and only made my anticipation spike more. The nay-sayers are the ones that need to chill out.

I fourth this. DON'T mess with Warren Spector. He writes one mean interview. The game looks gorgeous and cartoony, the music will be gorgeous, and the gameplay idea is pure genius.

Price Alert Amazon.com has the standard edition now for $44.99
I am hoping this reduction qualifies for their Pre-order Price Guarantee!
(I have also just contacted them about it)

Back on June 21st when I pre-ordered it was $46.99
I applied my $20 Mario Galaxy 2 credit and a $25 gift card so had a total of $1.99
With the new pricing I will get it for FREE and a penny back

I fifth this. Before reading the NP article I thought the game would just be ok. But now it looks better than ever!

Looking at the pictures in that article, the Phantom Blot sure is scary! It gets very intresting when you read some of the story elements Spector talked about in the interview, such as how Oswald and the Mad Doctor got to Wasteland. I also liked it when he discussed about the question of what a cartoon wants.

The Jungle Book level looked colorful too, which is a good thing for a gloomy world ravaged with ink. I remember the vultures from the movie, so the vulture beetleworx was instantly recognizable.

The Nintendo Power segment rocks! I love the explanative history behind the villains, and the Jungle Book level did indeed look colorful and puzzle-filled. Spector is a genius when it comes to creating games.

Yes, I'll consider buying this issue as it seems to be quite good from the statements that you gentlemen are making. The last issue was a must own for me as it was all about the Nintendo 3DS. :)

Amazon.com has upped the price of Epic Mickey today to $49.99 but has added a future video game credit of $10
It says the Promotion is valid on all existing orders. Limit one per household.
Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate this promotion at any time.

I did get it for the lower price of $44.99 with their Pre-order Price Guarantee! (minus my promo codes for a grand total of $-0.01)

It is a very good issue. Especially that Pulse letter about Waluigi. A brilliant piece of writing right there.

Just got the issue of Nintendo Power today and read the article (well most of it. I will read the feature about the villians soon). It was a VERY good article. And the pictures: wow! I'm so excited about this game. Most likely I'll only be able to rent it when it comes out, but I can't wait. IF its as great as it looks, I'll def. be buying it sooner or later. I hope its an awesome game. Right now its looking pretty great.

Make sure you read that villains section soon, because Spector really gets into the story and it gets even more intresting. I added your Warioware DIY friend code too.
