If it's any good,I'll defintely buy it! Unfortunely,I bought Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 awhile back and it was medicore. So,I'm very cautious about buying another DBZ game.

I agree it looks great. I enjoyed Dragon Ball Origins for the DS, and hope this one is just as good. Love these DB stories with the more classic feel. Z is a good story and all, but there's to many fighter games for my taste.

I've always dreamed about having a Wii Dragonball game. Now it's finally coming true! Just don't release it on the other console, otherwise, it'll obviously be dumbed down for the Wii. Let's hope it's a Wii exclusive. Do any of you guys think that they should have shown this at Nintendo E3 2009?

Yeah I also think it should have been shown at E3, maybe since it's in Japanese that was the reason why it wasn't.

This is why they call it cel-shade.

I now own this and it is an alright beat 'em up, but definitely nothing special. It leaves out a bunch of parts on the storyline, but is essential to the big Dragon Ball fan's collection.

Don't worry about me.

Dang I didn't even know it was out already. I can't seem to find a review for it to know what it's about, looks like I'm going to have to just blindly buy it. But first I want to get the Ghostbusters and Mini Ninjas (both for Wii). :D

I've read a couple of revws of this game and they suggest its a lot more style than substaance. The visuals are great but the gameplay is extraordinarily shallow. I'm actually a bit of a fan of the animated DB serieses but I don't tend to be too attracted to the DB games. I used to own BDZ BT2 which was good but was overly mental and complex, so much so the fun was gradually lecahed out proportionally to the increase in frustration of the game. THIS game is quite over-simplified in gameplay in contrast...apparantly.

I wonder why review places are treating this one as budget title. It doesn't look like it, here are links to reviews.

Oh snap, how did I miss your (pokemonzrpg) post. Sorry man. So is it a fight game or a action adventure game? Is it in 2D or 3D? How does it have voice acting? If so, can I toggle between Japanese or English? Thanks for the info. :)

I love the art and gameplay on this one. Really well done. ^it's a 2.5d platforming beat 'em up with multi-player fighting locally. I haven't tried out much of the fighting yet, busy going through the story and finding all the treasure. It also has a shop where you can spend coins gained during the adventure to buy music, items and a character gallery.

I might pick it up. II've wanted to play a Dragon Ball game since the Budokai series, but I didn't bother since I heard they all sucked. This one looks like it could be pretty decent.

It is a side scrolling 3D beat 'em up. The voice acting isn't that good, because I don't believe they use any of the voices from the show, or atleast you can easliy tell with Bulma's voice. I don't believe you can toggle between Japanese and English, but it's still worth the purchase if you are a hardcore Dragon Ball fan.
