I recently bought a Wii U and it's renewed my interest in gaming again (I go in phases). I have Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword. I only played Mario Kart heavily, and a few hours in Mario Galaxy & Twilight Princess. Never played Skyward Sword yet or any other game on the Wii.

With my Wii U I picked up: Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bro & Luigi U, Mario Kart 8, Wind Waker, Captain Toad.

I started replaying Mario Galaxy and have gotten almost all the stars and decided to pick up Mario Galaxy 2.

Twilight Princess is the only Zelda game I've ever played. I got stuck on a bird or something somewhere and lost interest. I think I'll start over like I did with Mario Galaxy (I passed the levels I played with Galaxy in 2 days, lol).

My question is on Donkey Kong: I remember playing Donkey Kong Country on my N64 and liking it. I did pick up Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Wii and Tropical Freeze for the Wii U. I'm just wondering if it's worth it playing through Donkey Kong Country Returns or not?

I tend to go in order, so I will play & finish the Wii titles before moving to the Wii U titles.

I'm also thinking about picking up Mario Sunshine and a GameCube controller and firing up my old GC Wii...

I just wonder if its worth playing the older titles or not. I am loving Galaxy, but I'm wondering if that will wear off with DK.

Donkey Kong Country was on the Snes not the N64 Tropical Freeze is better than Returns imo but it's easier than Returns which was a tough game and it doesn't really matter what order you play it in.
