Those...little "itty biters" or whatever you call them, they remind me of the raving rabbids for some reason. xD And just finished that Munching Marathon level, HOLY CRAP! Wasn't expecting to be chased by those....things! lol

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I'm replaying the DKC games on the SNES in antipaction of getting DKCR this on Christmas.
I feel your pain....
I have the money to go get DKCR now but, there all Sold out wher I'm at. So I can't get it on like Donkey Kong
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
I unlocked level 4-K today, got my *** handed to me more than a few times, and then decided that was enough for a day. World 4 is really amazing with all the mine cart levels, I think it was 4-2 that I really liked. This game is just superb, and I'm pretty sure I'd rank it above NSMBW and Epic Yam. Also, I definitely prefer the sideways mote control option best.
I just finished world 4-4 and I can say that world 4 kind of let me down. The original cavern levels had a nice diversity to them, every level I played thus far in the cave had a mine cart in it. Surely that was fun in the first games and even some here, but having every cave level based on something on rails or flying is a bite annoying.
I also have beef with the rocket barrel control scheme of holding a down and letting it go, i would have preferred a more traditional and easier to handle concept. That and the pressure sensitive a button for jumping with the mincart, omg I was going to flip out. As a 25 year old gamer who enjoyed the originals this is a little too hard, I don't know how any kid could get past world 2 and enjoy it.
Send me the best you've got. Send me your strongest machines. The fight my brother fought, here, now, will end with me.

I think that about most games that are marketed towards children. Honestly, how far could a 6-10 year old get in Super Mario Galaxy 1 or 2? I didn't think I would ever beat the last galaxy in SMG2. A super hard level where you can't even get hit! In most of the mine cart levels your reflexes have to be pretty quick and memorization comes into play as well. It took me quite a few tries to beat 4-K, but now that I have beaten it, I can beat it almost every time. Game keeps better, and I can't wait until I get home from work tonight so I can play some more!
OMG! The first time i did that part, I wanted to pull my hair out! I still have troble with that part, though. The Time Trials are insane. They expect you to be doing a TAS in order to get the Gold Medal!!
I'm at world 7 right now. The silhouette level that had Mr. Game and Watch in the background was pretty sweet. I can't believe how much I'm enjoying this game, and it really does keep getting better and better. I think someone may have said something similar, but this really shows how much more effort could have been put into NSMBW.
I haven´t bought the game yet, i´d like to know how difficult is this game?, i remember that before releasing SMG2 many web sites said it was very difficult but at the end it wasn´t so (neither was a piece of cake), so is DKCR an extremely difficult game and almost impossible to finish?. Also i´d like to know if the heart boost and squawks can be bought many times in one world or if once i buy and use them in one level, i can´t buy them again in the same world. Thanks.
@alex In my opinion, it is extremely difficult. In the first two worlds alone it can be ridiculously challenging to gather all of the collectibles and complete the time attacks with a decent time, and it is especially hard to ace the hidden Temple levels. Getting through the game itself so far isn't all that bad, but already there have been moments. I expect the game to get much more impossible later on, though. All of the items save the one-time use level-unlock keys in Cranky Kong's shop can be bought infinitely if you have enough banana coins.
If I had only one complaint about this game, it would be the amount of controller shaking that is needed. It gets tiring after a while. I wish they could have substituted the ground pound for Down+A, because it honestly interferes with the gameplay for me.
Other than that, it's a pretty fun game that I enjoy playing in relatively small doses.

@King Yes, I bet we can all agree on that. A small, banana-sized dent in the shining ape armor that is DKCR, though.
Everyone, really pay attention to Cranky's cynical comments while you're in his shop. Not only does he say some funny and useful things, but on one occasion he alluded to a mysterious, golden banana that not only tastes great but...
