My only concern is Super Kong. The idea of a guide that comes out once you fail too many times isn't what's bothering me. It's that Super Kong will come back on the DK crew more and soon he will be in Mario Spin-offs, like with Funky Kong and Mario Kart Wii. If that happens, then they might turn into the Sonic series.

Yeah, I'm doing my best not to spoil the game for me. I've seen just enough to get myself insanely hyped, but hopefully not enough that the entire game is spoiled, lol.

So we already heard that GI gave this a 9.5. I don't know if anyone has the magazine and the review with them (I don't) but on Metacritic where they always post a quick blurb from the review that generally sums up that review, this was posted for the Game Informer review:
"I've been looking forward to this game for months, but the final product blew me away. It's gorgeous visuals, awesome boss battles, varied stages, and cleverly hidden secrets guarantee gamers will have a great time revisiting this classic franchise... One of the best platformers I've ever played."
I WANT THIS GAME!!!!! The wait for Chanukah/Christmas will be grueling. (hopefully Chanukah since it happens earlier....) (yes I celebrate both, my mom's Jewish and my dad's Christian, since someone's probably going to ask....).

I got my copy of the latest issue of GI yesterday. I shall quote the reviewer, "One of the best platformers ever made, and it certainly resides amongst the Wii's top titles." It sounds as if Retro may have pulled another magical act.
