I can't see those pictures but I agree entirely Donatello, it's the bald spindly ****ers that get me too. House spiders don't bother me so much, they're hairy and almost meaty, so they're sort of like little animals. Don't get me wrong, I'll still pull my knees up to my chest and cower in a corner until they've disappeared, but I don't full on freak out like I do with daddy-long-legses. Those things are so, so, so creepy.

Eh, I'm not afraid of spiders, but I don't really look at them. I just squish them

As for DC, I thought it was pretty fun. I found the combat very enjoyable, especially with the scorpion. But the game always felt like it could be more robust. It always felt a little glitchy. If you can get DC for 30 bucks or less, definitely get it. At that price it's definitely an 8/10. I wouldn't pay any more than that though.

I certainly hope the game sold ok, I would love a sequel, as occasionally freaky as it was to see those long legged spiders with white eyes jump towards the screen, the gameplay and atmosphere was good!

Why not control something like a poisonous beetle? Similar to the Scorpion but faster. I suppose a snake as well, using the nunchuk to s-s-s-slither about, and waving the wiimote around in the air to activate a rattlesnake's tail.

I would have liked to play as the snake maybe, but it would probably need an entire new engine and build for a snake that can sliver around. Well I have continued up to Chapter 5 and I'm still not spending an hour on each level. While they are getting longer and longer, I haven't had one even break the 30 Minute mark. Now the game is great and I don't generally mind a short game if it is a pretty good game, but this feels a little too short. I still love it though and short lets me see the whole game and move on to the next game. Really the game is a lot of fun, but isn't without bugs, for the first time I fell through a branch and plunged to my death. Its definitely not that well polished, but what it does right really makes you forgive it for just about anything, a lot like No More Heroes. The atmosphere and music can be spine-chillingly creepy at times and sets the mood for the entire game. It may not be for everyone, but for those who even like the premise of the game, then your in for a real treat.

the game is great highly underrated and i am not just saying that because i live in the arizona desert and i love the scenery and the wildlife

That top one looks like the ones I find crawling across the floor sometime. The leg span of a European house spider is like 2-3 times that of the ones you find in North America and the females have rather large bodies - quite impressive.

It's an awesome game, but doesn't have much replay-ability alas.

Just snagged this game at Gamestop for 5 bucks.

Not bad so far, Pretty good implementation of motion control so far. Though the graphics suck. Like really bad. This would be at home as an early PS2 game.

Insects creep me out too much, so as much as I'm intrigued when reading about this game, I don't think I'd like to play it.

You followed the proper protocol by first searching to see if there was a relevant thread to post in. So just ignore him...

I'll give you this. It's not groundbreaking by any means. It's a fairly by-the-books action game with an interesting skin. But that doesn't make it bad. The game is somewhat challenging, there is decent diversity in the enemy design, and the motion controls were well implemented (they worked and they overreach the controller's precision).

Right now it's a 7/10 in my eyes.

This is one of those games that desperately needs an improved sequel. I rented it once...I liked it. The combat, while not great, had some really interesting elements and the brutality of it all was fantastic. Also it had Billy Bob Thorton and Danny Devito for no apparent reason.

Never played it but my friend's brother was one of the developers for it.
