okay so i recently had to start a new club nintendo account when i brought a 3ds. i hadn't logged into mine for a year or so and had forgot the password. little did i know my wii was registered on my old email which i no longer have access to as i cancelled my virgin subscription about a year and a half ago. so i was wondering if i could just register my new club nintendo account on my wii, but would this lock me out of the vc games i have already purchased? i have about £200 worth of vc games (lol i'm an addict- i admit it!) and don't want to lose them. ideally i wanted to transfer them to a wii u but am not sure if this will even be possible. any help would be greatly appreciated, thankyou

Your Club Nintendo account has nothing to do with what games you've purchased on your Wii — those are attached to the Wii itself. The only thing that will probably happen is you'll lose your coins from the old account and won't be able to re-earn any coins for your WiiWare/VC games in the new account.

Before the change I was able to see when I needed to complete surveys and registrations by in order to get coins. It used to say the day, month and year.

However, after the change it only shows the month and day. I emailed Nintendo about it, and they said that surveys typically expire within the year of purchase. This is bogus, as I had many items that wouldn't expire until next year. I really want to know the years, as I like to manage my coins for ease of gaining platinum each year.

Does anyone know a way to see the year that they expire?

There is no way to change it back to where the year is displayed in the survey expirations but all
of the old surveys still maintain the years.

You aren't the first person to point this change out as the official nintendo technical forums have multiple
posts regarding this concern. Nintendo is most likely looking to stop survey hoarding as much as possible
with this change and you can't really blame them as getting a survey for a game 5 years after its release
because people want stagger survey completion for platinum status isn't much use for Nintendo.
