Which channel do you think needs an update badly?

For me i would say the Mii Channel, they need to add more Mii add-ons

I think the shop could use some tweaking. I honestly feel the DSi shop is waay superior now--PSN has gone through 2 incredibly pleasant cosmetic facelifts, while the Wii Shop is starting to show its age...plus the DSi shop song is so much better!! It has yet to make it through its first loop without me humming some part of it. Smaller icons, faster loading, more intelligent scrolling, bigger, explandable pics, linking directly to Nintendo Channel for movies, etc....doesn't seem like I'm asking too much.

i think with the Wii shop channel, they should allow the images in the detail section to be clickable and enlarged. Also maybe even taking you to the Nintendo Channel which will feature more details and videos about the game.

Really, I'd redo all of the channels in order to keep them in tune with the Wii Home and Nintendo Channel.

I agree with the above that the Mii Channel and Wii Shop Channel could use updating.

Internet Channel need to update its Flash support

The Wii Shop needs to have video previews in it. It's incredibly annoying having to switch from the Shop to the Nchannel to watch the trailers and stuff.

Really, they could just stand to combine the Wii Shop and Nintendo Channel. They coordinate well together. Plus, we could use demos of games on the shop for both Wii and DS, so we can be more sure of what we're buying.

like the timed demos in SSB? that would be nice

YES! thank you. but not just for VC, WiiWare too. Have people realize the genius that is Art Style, or Gyrostarr (that game stops me from blinking)

@irken004: I agree. The Internet Channel needs to update it's Flash Support. One of the most requested features has so far been denided. Nintendo, contact Opera about this and tell to upgrade Flash for both the Wii and DSi (Especially DSi). Virtual Console also needs better update, look how patheic it's been for the past 7 1/2 months with one-game week! Not only has quanity dropped, but so did quality.

What, no love for the Weather Channel?

Internet Channel:
Bad news (something we've known since launch, though): We can't update the flash until Adobe, the company that makes it, decides to release flash kits past Flash 7 on anything other than computers (which are currently running Flash 9, I believe)

Channel changes that I hope for:
Home, all channels:
-similar display type (GUI) across all parts
-classic controller support

Forecast Channel
-complete interface overhaul
-times not in the 6 hour intervals
-past weather as well as future
-why does japan have its own icons?

News channel
-send stories to friends

Shop, Nintendo Channels
-combine them
-game demos

Internet Channel
-upgrade to the new (experimental?) Opera leaked, that includes tabbed browsing

Great idea. I agree 100%. I don't know why Nintendo don't do this.

My PC is broken. I use my Wii for Email, Youtube, Pay bills, shopping, loads more things. your dead right. They must update the internet channel.

You guys do realize that due to how the Wii was made and how it runs, Nintendo CAN'T significantly update built-in Channels, right? The only existing exception is Photo Channel 1.1, and that wasn't exactly a huge change overall.

Also, it seems that the "leaked" browser upgrade was a hoax. I wasn't too happy when I learned that, because it really could use an upgrade.

@SSBF1999: The DSi browser has, and will have, no Flash support at all. It was a design decision explained somewhere in the Iwata interviews on the official DSi website. I don't really think the thing could handle it very well anyway.
