Topic: Call of Duty Modern Warefare/Black Ops Wii version differences from PS3?

I would like to get Black Ops or Modern Warfare for the Wii, since I don't have a PS3 yet. But, I do know that they are different from each other. Does MW Wii include the airport shoot out, and other important story elements found on the PS3, or does the Wii version have a different story?

Modern Warfare on the Wii is the FIRST MW. The MW2, which isn't available on Wii, is the game with the airport scene.

Generally the only downgrade is the graphics, and a few random bits of gameplay has been shrunk down (some small scenarios not in the single player).

Can't say much about Modern Warfare (since I never played it), but I can't say enough good things about Black Ops on Wii. It's almost exactly like the version on PS3, XBox 360, and PC, minus a few things. The graphics are, understandably, not as good as the other systems, but they do look good for Wii standards. Every mission in the Campaign is present in the Wii version, and every event (except one, that I noticed, and it isn't that important) happens on the Wii version. The Multiplayer is also very close to the other versions. The Wii version has all the maps, all the perks, all the guns, and (almost) all the Killstreaks (Only Valkyre Rockets, Chopper Gunner, and Gunship are missing). There is a lot of customization aspects missing, such as custom emblems, custom red-dot sights, and Clan Tags, but you can still put camo on your gun. Only one piece of Equipment is missing (Camera Spike), and the only game mode not present is Ground War. Other than those things, the Multiplayer experience is every bit as good as the other versions of the game. The Zombie mode also debuts on the Wii in Black Ops. You only have one map at the moment (DLC is coming), but the mode has made the transfer to Wii without any big problems. Everything is present; from the Mystery Box to the Pack-a-Punch Machine, it's all here. You also have to consider the Controls on the Wii version. If you like Dual Analog, Black Ops is compatible with the Classic Controller Pro (MW is not). If you like pointer controls, there are tons of customizable options so you can play with the controls until you feel comfortable with them. You can even use the Wii Zapper, too.

Beep.
That is all.

-No Ground War
-No flamethrower
-No killcams
-Downgraded graphics which are the exact same thing
-Laggy/buggy servers
-No host migration
-No Valkyrie Rocket, Gunner Chopper, or Gunship as killstreaks
-Reduced maps like Havana
-No online or offline splitscreen
-No customizable player card
-No miscellaneous things liek windows, trash blowing, etc.
-Still 10 players
-Only 1 zombie map to play on compared to the 6 or 7 on PS360.
-Rinky dink community which means you might end up getting into the same game
And thats all that comes to mind at the moment.

Just for you.
