I thought it was actually rated quite highly. I'm not interested because I have young, impressionable children in the house (I know it's T-rated, but from what I hear it's a pretty strong T) and, while I know the ultimate message is anti-bullying, some of the content that I've heard it about doesn't sound like anything I want them watching me play. If I'm going to play anything questionable in front of them, it must involve killing or running from zombies/monsters.
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.
I ignored it originally on PS2 because I had tried a couple of the GTAs and hated them. And let's be honest, before you play it Bully looks like it's just more of the same... in a school! But it really is a better game than you would think. I picked it up (for Wii) on a whim a while back from Circuit City when they were going out of business and had everything on sale, and it actually surprised me. Where in GTA I had zero interest in the story and the characters so I just messed around for a little bit and played with cheats until it got boring, Bully was exactly the opposite of that.
I think that the concept is completely retarded. A video game about being a bully? Really? They might as well call it Niko Bellic: The Early Years, because it really is just a copy/paste of GTA in a school setting.
The Game.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

This game is one of my all time favorites. Thanks to great characters, varied missions and the best voice acting I have ever heard in a videogame! Rockstar Games at its best!
It's sad to see such disappointing sales of really great games like Bully and GTA: Chinatown Wars on the Nintendo platforms.
PS: Can't wait 'til next month! Red Dead Redemption!!!
Meh I dunno. I enjoyed it an' all.. but some of the controls were ghastly - the graphics were pretty ugly... and it didn't last long in the memory, I'm glad it was over when it was over.

Rockstar goofed by giving it the name it has, and then doubly so by throwing in just enough adult content to push its rating high enough to make it largely inaccessible to the gamers that'd most want to play it; i.e. schoolboys. It's sold in passable numbers, but I wouldn't be expecting a sequel given that the GTA games sell ten times better.
For those not familiar with the game, the title is a misnomer as you don't bully anyone in it. Rather, you're on the receiving end of most of the bullying and are looking to make your school a better place by getting one over the bullies; both students and teachers. Whilst it's an obvious spinoff from the GTA format, it's a much more light hearted game. You get around by bike or skateboard, arm yourself with a slingshot, stink bombs, marbles and a spud gun, regenerate your health by drinking cola and kissing girls; well, so long as you've befriended them first at least. Oh, and you've got to go to classes too; being the goody two shoes that I am, I went to all of them and never played truant until I'd passed the courses.

Yep It was a good. Espically since I got it for $10
I had the PS2 version and thought it was fun the first hour and then the boredom kicked in. I tried many times and spent about 10 hours forcing myself to play it, but I just did not enjoy it that much. While I did rent the Wii version, I still felt it was way overrated.
EDIT : But if you enjoy it that really is all that matters.
