Topic: Best Mario Party?

Mine is Mario party 3, its a classic.

Mario Party DS, by far my favourite. In second is Mario Party Advance. I just had so much fun with those games, I think because they are portable. Honourable mention goes to Mario Party 5.

That's a tough choice, but I may have to say 4...but my mind changes from time to time on that.

Mario Part 7 will always be my favorite. That's probably just because it came with my Game Cube, but hey, I still love it.

I used to have that card game and honestly we did have some good fun with it. Too bad that's one thing I think is in a land file at this point (mom liked to go on this big cleaner sprees...)

Because of the way I played some of the mini games Nintendo was nice enough to send me a free glove when I wrecked my hand on their game.

Not Mario Party 8, that's for sure. Being that this is the only MP game I've ever bought, I'm pretty sure it has scarred me beyond comprehension in that I'll probably never pick up one of these games again. I hear MP8 is the worst one but I'll never know cuz I'm not going to play them.

wouldnt it be great if they released something like a Super Mario Super Party game, that encompassed all the games from all the releases?

I had the most memories with Mario Party 4 & 5 but my favourite (right now at least) is 9 as it's the most fun me and my friends have had out of all of the Mario Parties. 2, 4, 5 & DS get honourable mentions as they're pretty awesome too.

@DestinyMan - I forgot that I did get MP2 from Club Nintendo last year. However, I have no in real life friends to play it with (I have friends, just none that are gamers). Single player is meh when it comes to these games.

MP 2 IDK these newer games have become too random and they make you rely on too much luck in order to win, MP 8 being the worst one of the bunch made me want to punch somebody's lights out.

I do think the new ones rely on luck way too much (I do like 8 more than 9 though). I really want to like 9, but it is the absolute worst with luck. The same reason I got sick of Fortune Street. They have some real fun qualities about them, but the extreme luck kills me.

The first one and DS are my favorites. Nothing ever will beat the awesomeness of the mini game island, and the download play multiplayer in DS is a gift from the gaming gods.

I still have my Mario Party Scars to prove that I loved that game!

2 or 3. 6 was pretty decent too.

3!!! I wish we could get that one on VC, I loved playing duel mode with friends, the RPG style partners was awesome!

This. The Flying mini-game in Mario Party 3 alone soaked up so many hours when I was a kid. The haverboard mini-game in 6 was pretty good, too.

I think most mario party games before the DS/Wii ones were great, maybe because I was less of a gamer when I was younger... or because I had some gaming "friends" at school so it was more fun......

I go with 8, 9 and 7.
