Man, I'd really love to try this out. NO TRIPPING? HALLELUJAH! But I probably won't since it involves messing with the game itself, and I'm paranoid about that kinda thing. But seriously, I think it would be sweet. Making Brawl (possibly) balanced? I think it's a great idea, and kudos to everyone who worked on it. If only I were that talented.
And I love point seven: CHARACTERS WHO ARE NAMED GANONDORF. Ganondorf is named Ganondorf... Love it.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I don't understand it at all. Besides being just plain annoying, it doesn't make sense to me. Why is a highly-trained super-athletic special agent tripping randomly? You'd think he'd have better balance after all of that training.

yea, but i guess it happens so novice players stand a better chance
That was pretty bad, but I chuckled, so you get a from me.

I disagre with wolf needing buffs. I once played against someone who was uterly killing with wolf.
Just because you once faced a guy who killed with Wolf doesn't mean Wolf is a good character. Skill is still the deciding factor (though this game feels to me like its less about skill than randomness than previous efforts). They felt that when the skill levels are close, Wolf just isn't that good, and I would agree with that assessment.

But he refusd to play as anyone else so I dont he was that skilled with others but it shows that is you practice enough wolf is plenty strong, but I digress.
Well, he was at least skilled with Wolf, so my argument still stands. The higher-skilled player wins in the end, even if their character choices (or lack of) are boring.
And off-topic: I don't like people who only play as one character. They bore me to no end. I play with as many characters as I can.

Yeah your argument stands I was just saying any charactes can be best or needing nerfs or buffs depending on the person. I'm also not any good with Wolf.
Oh, I don't disagree with that. If you like a character and you're good with that character, you should stick with it. But the high amounts of players using Meta Knights and Snakes says to me that something about the game is unbalanced. If they nerf and buff here and there, then a Ness or a Link can win just as readily as a MK or a Snake, and your character choice can be determined just by who you like, and not by who's gonna win you a battle.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I love those grenades! And the grabs, and the tilts, and the smashes, and the C4, and...
I just love using Snake in general.

A very large amount of this are necessary changes that should have been in the game in the first place.
I don't see why characters trip either. This is especially odd considering the number of platforming characters who make their living on flawless motion. Plus, one of them is SONIC.
