On a completely unrelated note: Mickeymac, are you Jewish?

That's a very odd question, and I'm not answering it until you answer mine: Why do you ask?

Because you spell God with a dash in his name. I'm pretty sure only religious Jews do that. That, and the Mickey mouse company is a massive jewish conspiracy for world domination. :P You see what tipped me off now.

Now Playing: Okami, Wind Waker, Tomb Raider Underworld, Batman Arkham Asylum

I couldn't agree more. NiGHTS is one of my all time favorite Wii games!

What do you think of the soundtrack? I have it on my ipod. :)

I sort of liked playing Sonic and the Black Knight. With a practised jump / waggle combination you could fly through some stages and overall speed and visuals could be quite impressive. The game play is never going to work right in 3D, but I dint understand why it was so very badly received. I found Unleashed and Secret Rings way less fun to play...

Other than Nintendo Power your the first person I've ever heard give any praise to Sonic and the Black Knight.

I think retro magazine gave it a glowing review. It was either them or Gamestm.

Yoshi's Story. It's a fun little gem that I love, and critics hate it. I have yet to see why.

@mickeymac: I know, but still don't you think that LKS deserves more than a 89%?

@rustythekid: The game has a 79% average! God, just because it isn't 9s doesn't mean that people think it's bad.

OK, I've got one: Kidz Sports Crazy Golf. I've played it about 55 hours since buying it a few months ago. This game was given 3/10 just about everywhere. The controls took about 20 hours to figure out, and there are still some frustrating graphics issues, but I love mini golf and the game has quite a bit of charm. If you have it, dig it out and give it some work.

And I'll chime in on Geometry Wars: Galaxies. I really like this game -- didn't realize it got bad reviews.

@E-160
While I wouldn't say Yoshi's Story is a bad game per se, the fact is that it felt like a massive let down after the pure joy in cartridge form that was Yoshi's Island.

No offense dude but that's a pretty obnoxious habit to get into. Not sure what you think you're proving by doing that.

I enjoyed Pokemon Battle Revolution despite it's short-lived story. Jam Sessions was also very entertaining for me, as well as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series (good story, horrible gameplay.) I never really get any games that are reviewed worse than average by Nintendo Power, as they are the only ones I can trust for good reviews. I stayed away from Wii Music though, because of the horrendous reviews.

Let's see............... probably Custom Robo, Pokemon XD, Sonic Adventure 2, Spyro A Hero's Tale, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Pokemon Channel (yes, I said that), Sonic Battle (I freaking love this game :)), Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Sega Smash Pack GBA (simply for Golden Axe), Crouching Tiger: Hidden Dragon GBA (great little beat 'em up), Link's Crossbow Training, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (one of the best minigame collection on the Wii), Onslaught, Cars Wii, Wii Music, Helix, Pokemon Battle Revolution (it's awesome if you think it as a add-on to DPP), Family Table Tennis, My Pokemon Ranch, Game Party, and I think that's it.

By the way, Nights deserves all the bad reviews it got :P

O_O...You complain about an 89% average, yet you tell someone to not complain about a 79%...:sigh:...I don't even need to say anything - you took the words right out of my mouth.

Prove? I'm not trying to prove anything, other perhaps the old "Monkey See, Monkey Do" principle. It's just a compulsive habit that can't break. Nothing more.

I'm amazed & saddened that no has said Soul Calibur Legends already?! :'(

I mean come on, despite what people say about it; it's an awesome game with a very good story that keeps you entertained... and especially if you're a big Soul Calibur fan! That's why I enjoy it! :D

One thing for certain I like about Soul Calibur Legends is the final boss fight with:
Spoilers (Iska)... for you didn't see that coming near the end; & you've got to feel sorry for the guy since he lost his sister & made the Masked Emperor look just like her! ;)
