I didn't think so, but I found it fun. It was hard to control at first, but once you got the hang of it, it really made the flying missions fun. I love the whole strategy element to it.

The multiple endings were fun to unlock for me. A whole bunch of what-ifs. Some were just downright hilarious. I mean, in one Fox and Falco become F-Zero racers (basically), and then in one ending everyone hates Krytal (I lol'ed) so she becomes some amazon bounty hunter who Fox doesn't even recognize. How many blue foxes are out there?

What I find the most amusing, though, is Foxes dramatic personality changes from game to game. He goes from ace fighter pilot who helps the galaxy, to a money-hungry "let's do this quick" kind of guy, to someone with a sense of honor and is willing to help others, to an overprotective twit who gets rid of Krystal because of the danger of his job.

yeah, it was like g-zero or something, wasn't it? like we could be fooled!
EDIT! and the krystal changing her name and being a bounty hunter one was funny, made her look too sensitive...

Gotcha Force.
You need to play it a lot and then you'll understand. It's so addictive.

I can't agree with the review what-so-ever.

Tomb Raider Legend got 5/10 on Ninteno Life. That must be a joke.

Hence why don't put any stock in NL's reviews whatsoever. Sure it's opinion, but I find myself rather surprised by the Everest-sized mountains of salt I have to take with some of their reviews. Heck, I don't read any reviews for this very reasons. It's just easier for me to come look up a product description and ask a friend, IMO.

And somebody mention Digimon World - IMO, the entire Digimon World Series is underrated! Some of my favorite games as a kid, and even the newer ones still manage to entertain.

I liked Digimon World 1 for the psx, mickeymac, but when your piece of s*** monster died you had to start all over and that was so lame. I trained trained and trained some more to make it as far as I did and he died. Didn't play it anymore after I realized I had to do it all over a again.

Yeah, that was kind of a lame feature, but I didn't mind it as a kid - just gave me an excuse to try a different monster. The later games got a little better, thankfully.

Not sure if I've said this or not, but NiGHTS: Jouney of Dreams. It's easily one of my favorite Wii games. I'll never understand all the hate.

Most recently... Spyborgs. It got a few decent reviews and some mundane mediocre reviews. I really enjoyed it though. Graphics were pretty good.

Who poorly reviewed this game? Lies and deceit, lies and deceit.

I also enjoyed Sonic 3D blast on Genesis and Wii Play. It's the same stuff the whole time, but I have been addicted to every single one of those games at some point. I have mostly platinums.

I'll have to try one of the new ones. I've been meaning to, but that left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I surprisingly liked that new Sonic Riders game in the Wii/PS2 (think it's called Zero G, but not sure). For some reason people really hated that game even though it was just average. I think it's because people take the game in a "Sonic Game Perspective", where if it isn't "true" Sonic, they'll just throw it away. That's probably my biggest problem with people who review Sonic games.

The only thing that gives pirates a chance against ninjas is the ability to grow awesome beards. Other than that, they're completely outmatched.

Difficult thread. There are so many games that I love but got ok reviews at best. Luigi's Mansion is one that springs to mind. But that's underrated reviews, not bad. Most adventures nowadays get bad reviews from big game sites just for being an adventure.

The first game that springs to mind is Dead 'n Furious (Touch the Dead) for the DS. I absolutely loved this game. But there were some bad reviews out there. http://g4tv.com/games/xbx/14282/The-House-of-the-Dead-III/review/ is especially funny. Good to see that NintendoLife gave it an 8 out of 10.

i love touch the dead, its like a light gun game for the ds! my only problem with it was that it's difficulty was unforgiving.
