Really worth checking out. If you end up renting it come back here and we'll give you some techniques and send you some Wii Music Videos to show you how awesome this game can be!
Which reminds me, we were going to do a collaberation, weren't we Samus? You want me to start it? I'll try to lay down a drum beat tomorrow after school.

Activision is trying to get retailers to stop selling other music games than the "hero" games, including this one. What ya gonna do about it?
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Sent you a pretty kickin' drum beat for the collaboration. If you don't like it feel free to just start over and send me what you come up with. I've never done this before so I wasn't sure how many parts I should record, etc.

Hey, go ahead and count me in at some point if you need another random part. I have to admit that I don't think I'm very good at collaborations, because it's hard for me to get what I want out of one instrument (perhaps you should do a collaboration where each person records 2 parts then passes it on? that seems to work well), but in any case, while my wrists are still causing a great deal of pain, a little Wii Music shouldn't hurt.

Just added my trumpet and sent the final work back to both of you.
You two had created a great little blues backing that is incredibly fun to solo over. I'm not sure I quite nailed it, but I'm still pretty happy with the result. I'll maybe record it for Youtube later and embed it in the thread.
EDIT: And here you go.

Also, whatever happened that user OK_Computer? Something tells me it was a gag by Chicken.

Wait a minute--THAT's not the video I meant to send for the collaberation! Whoops. But it turned out pretty sweet anyway

Blast that Chicken! He's fooled me again!

Don't ask me, that's what was sent to me. Correct or not, it sure was entertaining to play over.
555. Posted: Sun 27th Sep 2009 23:28 BST
That bass is jamtastic, am I right?
556. Posted: Sun 27th Sep 2009 23:46 BST
You are correct.
I'm not sure why I never played around with this particular song much. I suppose I skipped it due to never having played an Animal Crossing game before, but it's unique for being the only standard 12-bar blues song in the game, great fun to solo over.

Yeah that's the song I always play when I just want to kick back and jam. Have you listened to the new Thom Yorke stuff?

I have just received Wii Music in the post, and would welcome friend requests and videos. My Wii number is in my signature, although I don't think I'll be sharing any of my "creations" yet.
I'll try to have my Wii online for a few hours, just so any requests are able to get through.

It's all good. The one that I sent for the collaboration was just me playing the drums, so look through your vids for that one. If you really don't have it, I guess I'll just try to send it again.
Cool man! I'll add you sometime this week, probably not today because I have a crap-ton of homework to do, but probably wednesday at the latest.
