Yes, I did. Very nice. Miyamoto would be proud of your banjo work.

I've really been digging the bajo lately for some reason. Sufjan Stevens and Modest Mouse have some great banjo songs.

For some reason, I have been, too. This guy has a lot of good recordings on banjo on his Youtube page (not to mention he has a wonderful voice, too).

I'll check him out sometime when I'm not on my DSi

Adam darling, did you say you sent out a new video of yours after you bought the game? I didn't get anything.

I'll be sure to correct that, Chicky-boo, if I can remember which ones are new and which I've already sent you.

Flipnote studio has been recieving the bulk of my creative output.
Oh, and a new Radiohead song leaked yesterday, it's called These are My Twisted Words. I think. Anyway it's really good, so check it out!

Hand is healing...slowly, but healing. While driving I heard Everybody Hurts on the radio and I thought that'd make a good Wii Music project during my injury.
So I set about recording something Everybody-Hurts-inspired, using I'll Be There as my base for no reason other than the fact that I received a video for that song from Adam when I booted up the game, and it put me in mind.
You all have a copy of my injury song, feel free to make fun of it. The rhythm section sounds much more like it was pulled from a Talking Heads song with its relentless, mechanical ratcheting, but there's a little Everybody Hurts hidden in there after all. And I accidentally managed to tease a few bars of "Jingle Bells" at some point, which you may or may not even be able to hear. Don't ask me how I did it, I have no idea.

I'll make fun of it later, but for now I quite like it! I'm glad I read this post just now, too, because I was about to send you I'll Be There. I guess it was my latest F-Zero song that I didn't send you, so I'll resend that. If you have both already, I think you are up to date with my latest noises songs.

I'd definitely be up for another collaboration, if you guys are up for it. We have a few new faces in this thread I think...and I know Adam is dying to break out his cheerleader uniform again.

You mean your cheerleader uniform.
513. Posted: Sat 15th Aug 2009 03:36 BST
Why do we fight every night about who wears the cheerleader uniform?

That's what love is all about.

ahem well I'll be out of the country this week (going to Canada till next Saturday! yay!) so I won't be able to make fun of Chicken's song, or do a collaboration.

Chicken, didn't you get the last thing I sent you building upon Metroid IT's drums? I was hoping that would start the next collaboration. I really have a big backlog of videos to watch from you guys, I'll get to them in the next couple of days, promise!

Which one was it, Sean? I had a backlog of videos after a long period of inactivity, and I don't think they all loaded up when I finally booted up the game again. It looks like they might "expire" after all. Or maybe if you have over a certain number in your queue they start getting erased.
What was the name of the song? I'll check to see if I have it.
518. Posted: Sat 15th Aug 2009 19:16 BST
Well, I'm wearing a cat suit in it -- can't miss it! I think the song was Turkey in the Straw.
519. Posted: Sun 16th Aug 2009 21:15 BST
I don't seem to have gotten it, Sean. Send it again if you don't mind? I'll give it a listen, add a dash of Philzo, and pass it on to our favorite cowboy.
