I was supposed to pick up my MotionPlus today along with Virtua Tennis but it's a public holiday here in Australia so I'll have to wait until tomorrow. James will have his Virtua Tennis 2009 review online soon, and he and I are also preparing another article in relation to the MotionPlus and some of its games that you might wanna check out when it goes up in a few days.
To answer a couple of questions/misconceptions:
Europeans (and maaaybe Aussies), Grand Slam Tennis is also bundled with MotionPlus for us lads. Sorry, North America!
Yes, Wii Sports Resort has disc golf. The E3 reports I've read all claim it plays better than the Tiger Woods version, too. Won't be able to play the Wii Sports Resort version online, though.
No, you won't be required to remove the MotionPlus for older games, but it drains the Wiimote batteries if it's plugged in regardless of whether it's actually being used so I recommend you do.
My Tiger10 with MP is already ordered, and I can' wait. Then I'll grab one of the tennis one's (dunno which yet). And then of course Sports Resort. Woot!
I might get it separate if that is an option, then rent Red Steel 2. Are peripheral required games (such as Wii Fit) available to rent? Does for example, Block Buster give you the peripheral as part of the rent as well?
I might have missed it, but has there been any confirmation of whether you will be required to remove the Motion+ from your remotes before playing older games?
I shouldn't think so because older games wouldn't be looking for the data it's sending out. Taking the remote out isn't likely to be much more of a pain than plugging in a nunchuk/CC, but it might mean that I have one remote in the sleeve with M+ and the other one not.

dunno if this is the best comparison, as I never played older Tiger games and have only played this, and only with the WMP no less...but the game feels great.

Was planning to get it with Grand Slam Tennis but having seen a bit of Red Steel 2 and Wii Sports Resort I'm now not so sure, have plenty of games to be getting on with in the mean time so not in much of a rush for this.
