I've played 1701 A.D. (This game is part of that series) on the PC, and it was quite fun. Now us Wii owners are getting it for only $20-$30 (Amazon says $30 and IGN says $20, so its a bit confusing), and it looks a LOT better.

Anyone else excited?

Mildly excited. I love the graphics. It looks very clean and and smooth.

I also played that 1701 AD game, but on the DS. As far as Settlers-like games go, it's one of the best I've played.

I never played the original but I'm definitely picking this one up for my Wii! The GameStop website lists the price of the Wii version at $29.99. The video and the price convinced me that this is a worthy investment!:)

Okay, it's probably $30 then. And yeah, the graphics remind me of Zelda: Wind Waker. Totally cool!

The initial trailer looked good; the ones I've seen since are also pretty nice. Given that Sim City Creator seems to have been a dud this should hopefully address any curiosity I've got about my appetite for this kind of sim life game.
