Let's see, over the past month I've replayed:
Donkey Kong Country Returns.
Pikmin 1 and 2 (technically not Wii games, but I've also been playing them because I'm so freaking excited for 3).
New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Mario Kart Wii.
I normally never play these games anymore, mostly just SSBB. But lately I've been having a nostalgia (is it old enough to have that with Wii games? I don't know) craze, likely set on by the ever looming Wii U.
I just got the Kirby Collection and I'm playing a marathon of the games on it. I'm playing a "nostalgic" marathon of games on my Wii, none of which are Wii games, even though the games are on a Wii disc, while the compilation disc is brand new but consists only of old, nostalgic games... Wii-ception.
Digitaloggery 3DS FC: Otaku1 WiiU: 013017970991 Nintendo of Japan niconico community is full of kawaii! Must finish my backlagg or at least get close this year W...
I've been having Wii parties with my friends lately and along with games like Mario Kart Wii, NSMB Wii, Kirby's Return to Dream Land, and Fortune Street. I've also been playing Wii games I haven't really touched since 2007 (Warioware Smooth Moves, Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree, and the original Wii Sports), and we even play some Gamecube games.

No, the last Wii game I played was one I got this year as I finished the awesome Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the new world a few days ago. I'll go back to something I haven't played in a while soon though. I'm thinking of either getting the rest of the shines in Super Mario sunshine, playing more of The legend of Zelda: Majora's mask or getting back to Wario land: The shake dimension.
I'm getting 100% on every game in Kirby's Dream Collection. Already finished all of them besides the Challenge Stages and Super Star. Though I've only got Kirby's Adventure and Kirby's Dream Land with 100%. Might be done by next week or so, might finish Kirby's Return to Dreamland afterwards.
Xenoblade is all I need so no. Oddly I've borrowed Mario Sunshine and bought the XBLA version of Beyond Good and Evil so it's been more of a GCN nostalgic marathon for me.
If I didn't have too many games to play I would have. Probably should since there's plenty of games I need to finish still (A Boy and His Blob, Ghostbusters, Excitebots, Sam and Max Season 1 etc.)
Rayman Origins, the game the New Super Mario Bros series could learn a thing or two from.
In what regards? It's only better in art, creativity, sound design, creativity, level design, how to make areas unique, creativity, interesting boss battles, replayablity, creativity, and basically anything outside of making tons of money with the least effort possible that gamers can remotely tolerate.

You forgot creativity.

Rayman Origins is good but not quite as good as New Super Mario Bros Wii.
The levels in Rayman were all pretty linear, even NSMBW has more alternate paths and secret areas than Rayman Origins. The multiplayer in Rayman doesn't take the experience to new heights either. It's simply not more fun with more people, whereas NSMBW is exponentially better with more people. Also, the boss fights in Rayman weren't so amazing. They were all memory games--giant bosses make the exact same moves (and I mean no deviations whatsoever) no matter what you do. Zero AI at work there. And I don't find myself wanting to revisit the game much after beating it, since Rayman Origins was at times a grueling collect-a-thon.

Well those are...
...actually some pretty good points. (tbh, if the NSMB games didn't infuriate me so much Origins would only be somewhat better)
