Topic: Another Code: R

I'm wondering if anyone has played this yet and if it's worth buying? I quite enjoyed the original on the DS and was all set to get this one, but I've just seen an advert for it with an angsty teenage girl sulking in her room and gradually forgetting all her problems by playing Another Code: R.

Thing is I'm a man in my 20's and it seems kind of wrong wanting to buy it now. I love point n click style adventures, though - I already have Sam and Max, Broken Sword and Fate of Atlantis for the Wii and I'm craving more. So is it worth getting for someone like me or is it just going to make me sulk all day about the fact that I can't marry one of the Jonas Brothers?

I think Zane is playing it right now and he's raved about it to me anothers on Wii Speak. I'm not responsible if you feel the need to pick up some new accessories to "complete your look" after playing though...

I've beaten Another Code R and I thought it was worth it - more than anything else this year.
I'm a point&click adventure fan, and I liked the prequel, so I'm biased.
And with 25 hours (I took my time to examine everything) it wasn't as short as the first game.

I've got it last week and I really love the graphics, music and the gameplay I've played so far. But I stopped playing. I'm playing the original for the DS again now. Just to get familiar with the story and the characters again.

Well I went out to buy it today and none of the shops have it in stock - I guess all the copies were snapped up by angsty teenage girls. Instead I bought House of the Dead Overkill so I could feel all manly before ordering Another Code off the internet tonight.

Glad to hear it's a good though and that the graphics are up to scratch. It's one of the main things I loved about the DS game.

I was toying with the idea of getting it but then I saw the commercial for it on the Nintendo channel. The one with the girl in her room being all angsty as you guys say. It put me clean off it even though I've played the DS one.

Meh just get it anyway - I am. Just put it on your game shelf inbetween Madworld and HotD Overkill and above your DVD Die Hard set and no one will question you.
