Another pointless thread, but how can a star that turns your screen upside down be like an item that pushes you to the front of the pack?

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

There's a comet? Last time I played, there is no comet.

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
@Chrono Cross, if your into the Kart Racing genre (the fun ones, not the crappy ones Codemaster put out on the old Xbox) then definitely check it out. If you own a 360 give the demo a try, but I warn you that version seems to be the most unforgiving of the different platforms that this game is on. I own the Wii version and I don't regret picking it up, it shares a similar control scheme to the Mario Kart title on the Wii, but it's also unique in it's own way. DS one seems to share similarities to Mario Kart DS, and the PC version lacks multiplayer, but it is the nicest looking of the versions.
Overall I prefer the Wii version over all the other platforms.
if you want some creative weapons try mysims racing. one item reverses control by turning the screen upside down. another item puts ink on the screen, so you have to waggle around with the remote to remove it, instead of just waiting it out. I think there were others, but I only rented it for one evening and can't remember the rest. it was a fun alternative.

Is the remote-controlled missile almost always guarenteed to hit like the blue shell is?
I'm getting S&S All-Star Racing for 2 reasons: a cool Sega theme, and Mario Kart Wii's Battle Mode sucks. By the way, I still haven't gotten any answers as to how good S&SA-SR's Battle Mode is (hint, hint).
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Battle mode is alright. Some of the modes are fun. Could've used more arenas, IMO. I went into some detail in my review. http://bit.ly/csrCYE
(P.S. - I love Coin Runners in MKWii. I always do all the work. )
Also: The missile is NOT a Blue Shell equivalent. Because (A) it doesn't always hit the person in first (B) sometimes even if you let it run without ever pressing the button, if the person in first is really far ahead, it won't reach them (C) the after-effects are not nearly as bad.
