@Chu: that's why it's hell! of course, this means that he'll probably never answer any of your questions, nor will he ever grant you your requested hugs; thus it becomes hell for both of you.
me? i'll never be able to see it happening and thus laugh my tail end off. that would certainly be hellish. :3
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3
[16:43] James: I should learn these site rules more clearly
[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
Can we not talk about hell please? It's scaring me. @WolfRamHeart - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! ='D [sigh] Good one! Not gonna happen! XD You're a good user, WRH, but that's an impossibility that you're suggesting.
@RandomWiiPlayer: Of course he won't take over as the producer of the games. He'll turn the company upside down. Just look at Sega. If you think they suck now, imagine how they'll be if he made those games.
I was kidding, and it is a possibility. And Sega doesn't suck, what they have done with Sonic sucks. He works for Nintendo, if he went to Sega he would be doing Sega a favor.
The Game.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.
Honestly, I don't even know what Miyamoto's actual title is, if he has one. He may just be called Miyamoto, and that is written somewhere into the business hierarchy instead of "EAD Manager" or whatever. Assuming leading the different EAD groups is his main responsibility, I unfortunately don't know enough about the guys who are next in line to even guess at the best man for the job.
If I had to though, I'd go with Koizumi because he's had his hands in both Zelda and Mario games, and lead designer of Galaxy is certainly good to have on the resume.
The only other name I know off the top of my head is Aonuma, but all he's done is Zelda, and not always that great work. Whatever your personal feelings about Twilight Princess, Iwata himself says he expected it to sell much better.
how old is the guy probibly almost in his 50's and iwata is probibly older then him
This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare
how old is the guy probibly almost in his 50's and iwata is probibly older then him
Miyamoto: born November 16, 1952 Iwata: born December 6, 1959
"Almost" in his 50's is an understatement, but he's not exactly about to be put in a retirement home, either, even if he doesn't have that youthful Iwata skin.
Whoever takes over Nintendo next, I hope (s)he does a splendid job doing so. Shigeru Miyamoto and Satoru Iwata are two great Nintendo people. In irrelevant news: forgive me if I sound ignorant, but, why does everyone keep saying that Walt Disney was cryogenically frozen? I sure never heard that as a child, and I find such an idea improbable now.
He didn't get cryogenically frozen. It's a simple case of mistaken identity. People get Walt Disney and Han Solo confused all the time. I know I do, sometimes.
When Shigeru dies, every gamer will cry a thousand tears of sadness and blood. even the people on XBLA will cry for our good friend. And I know I'll see that day in my lifetime, so that just makes the pain a thousand times more unbearable. But even if he is gone, we will never forget the father of gaming. Let's just hope that his death will not be in vain. Peace be with us all until that day.
