What do you think of my idea?

When you start up your system, you are inside a house and you can control your mii.

Walking around the house, you will see other miis created on your wii
(You can press a button to go to the regular menu)

You can press a button and go to map mode.
(You will see the Mii Plaza, Shop Store, Nintendo Channel store, Check Mii Out boardwalk, Everybody Votes Park, etc...)

Once you go out of your house you will see all of the Miis you encountered online, walking around the world.

Rightoutside you would see a place called Gaming Galore.
(This is where you go to play the game inside the console)

Inside it you will also be able to play games you've downloaded too.

Then there will be a ship
(Where everything on your SD card is at)

Also, when you download some new channels, new buildings will pop up.

Then there's a hospital where you create new miis

I prefer an interface to be quick and clear, simple menu's nothing fancy.

That seems pretty interesting. Provided it was done right, I could see myself having fun on the menu. And if they gave it a good sense of exploration, it could be like a game in its own right.

As long as there was a built in option to use a more simple menu, I wouldn't care what they came up with I don't mean this in a bad way at all, so please don't take it that way. But I would probably have loved that idea if my NES had had something like that when I was 6, but I'm 25 now and a lot less patient than I was then Then again, it seems like Nintendo wants their consoles to fit as many different age groups as possible, but I'm not sure they'd ever bother to make two of something anyway, but rather one menu that most people will be comfortable with.

I have never started a thread on NL. Maybe I'm scared of dragons and chickens.

Yah, I see what you guys mean.

@Ickaser

So could I!
If they did something like this, then they should add seasons, weather, and the time according to the forecast for your city.

Like if it was gonna snow 5 feet today, then it would build up to it
