Would you rather have a SS art style and general mood or TP? I think TP's art style, mood and length were perfect. Any thoughts?

TP style has been pretty much ruled out as they said the style would be different from the WiiU tech demo(that is pretty much TP style in HD)

As much as I love dark atmospheric games, I had to try too hard to get into Twilight Princess. If I had to choose between the two styles, I'd choose Skyward Sword. It just felt so much more lively. Not saying I don't like dark zelda games, Majora's Mask being my favorite, I'd just hope they steer clear of the Twilight Princess style.

I myself liked WW style, but SS would be great too.

You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?

I loved the WW style (after I actually played it) but WW had 2 spin-offs and representation in 2 Smash games... so I would rather see SS used again, especially if it could cut down dev time and get the game out fast lol

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

my favorite Zelda style(Minish Cap) is impossible in 3D HD so it won't happen

I would combine SS's watercolor painterly style with Wind Waker HD's cel-shading with Twilight Princess's art style.

Ultimate Zelda right there that is realistic looking, but not hyper-realistic. ^^;

My favorite Art style is probably Twilight Princess, but I'd rather them try something new. If they have to go back to an art style the real old school anime feel of the artwork to Zelda II could be good.

I kind of like what they did with Link's design for the upcoming Smash Bros. It's kind of a mix between Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. I'd be up for something like that.

I'm a great fan of TP but I must admit that a game like SS running in HD would look amazing. Just hope that the art style they adopt doesn't keep people from playing it a la WW. But there are a few things I expect from nintendo in terms of graphics. Nintendo tends to ignore graphics. Wii Sports Club looks alright but look at the ground textures in golf for example. Really ugly. Or look at the trees, they're made out of three or four planes put together. Ground textures on pikmin 3 were also pretty ugly. Even if they don't go for the realistic look, I hope they put some effort into making it look nice.

I absolutely hated TP's "dark" look. They tried too hard to make it dark, and it wasn't the right kind of dark anyway. They made it unbearably dreary, colorless, and dark in the sense that you couldn't see what you were doing. I think they should just do realistic, but cartoony.

As much as I want another TP/Zelda HD Tech demo graphics for the next Zelda game. Skyward Sword's seems like a better fit for the series in general.

TP because the SS style always makes the Germans upset

Does Tron-like Zelda land count? Maybe its time for Link go to the Twilight zone!

Umm… Care to have some gravy?

I like all the unique styles of the Zeldas, I would love to see something brand new, but then again I can go back to any of the past styles too.

How about Paper Zelda, similar to Paper Mario?

I really like cell-shading as an art style, I think a little more realistic style such as Twilight Princess with cel-shading would look awesome. Also I want them to take Link into a light steam-punk direction. I think that would be so cool, and would really revitalize the series with a game that could bring in others besides the die hard fans of the series. Make it Twilight Princess with Wind Waker cell-shading and very very light aspects of steam punk, such as costumes and some of the weapons. Definitely don't make Link a first person shooter though.

would be awesome to have a steampunk zelda!!!! something "advanced" but fitting to a Zelda game.

I do think that throwing Link into a new "era" would be pretty cool, a steampunk-ish or even more futuristic world for him would be pretty interesting. They can still keep all the enemies, but just have them more slightly evolved to fit whatever new atmosphere they've been adapted too. Obviously there would be new bosses and enemies, but you can always expect to see the regular Zelda enemies in every game. They do talk about changing the conventions of the Zelda series and that would definitely mix things up, for better or worse. It can just be a one-time thing. I would like to see what Hyrule looks thousands of years after.. Wind Waker, for example
