I guess you could have avatars being Gorons and Zoras and Deku Scrubs, but what exactly would you be doing? Puzzles aren't much fun when someone else has already solved them and Zelda's enemies are nowhere near strong enough to need multiple players on a regular basis. No, I think Zelda is an experience best left to what's it's good at: single player. Looking forward to a Four Swords game though, as there's no way they're not doing one with both handheld and console being dual screen...
but what if they did make a four sword with online what would you guys like the game to have for online?yes i know kinda stupid question but besides the puzzles what else?since were having headsets for the wii u a way to chat with the other play?
my 3DS friend code: 4468-2280-4674
i stopped playing mario kart now and moved on to luigis mansion :P
I would like a Zelda MMORPG spin-off but I know that the answer is "Nope".
Online does not fit Zelda, maybe some sort of co-op even that I don't like that idea.
Just because Wii U has the potential to make Zelda an online game, doesn't mean it should.
It would either be half a million Links running around Hyrule...
Or the ability to play as whatever race you wanted from the Zelda universe. (like with Majora's Mask...)
Just imagine an army of Deku Scrubs...now have them being led by a Like Like. PFFFTT LOL~!
cool,i mean if that was the case, then i would have an army of gorons!
“It’s a 4-year development cycle with a new console, new technology, new engine etc. It’ll end up being the most expensive game they’ve made to date. It’s a huge investment for them [Nintendo] in money and manpower, this is Rockstar/GTA territory”.
The new Wii U Zelda will feature “about the same amount of dungeons as previous Zelda games, but these will be vastly bigger in scope and will be totally different from each other. Some dungeons are so big they’re broken up in 3 parts and will literally take hours to complete”.
“Online multiplayer was never on the drawing board, they’re sticking with the tried and tested Zelda formula. It’ll have some online features like Miiverse and some sort of system where players can leave hints and help each other in the dungeons. That’s about it”.
"“...everything in the game is built around the controller and its unique abilities. Every single feature in the controller is used to its full potential. Some of this stuff is still in early stages of development, but they’ve already implemented enough to show just what’s possible with the new controller. "
"Zelda coming in 2014 will be biggest Zelda game ever"
“It’s a 4-year development cycle"
2011-2014 = 4 year?
Stopped reading there.
Where did you get 2011? If you would have read the article it said Nintendo has assembled the biggest team ever to work on a game at Nintendo EAD 3 in Japan. “They got hundreds of people working on the new Wii U Zelda game”, which still hasn’t got an official subtitle. The development is once again led by Eiji Aonuma, who has been working on the game with his team since late 2010.

So they we're working on the next one, before Skyward Sword was finished? Seems strange to me.
it would be so awesome to have a four swords, or two swords, one on tv one on wii u, me and my bro could play together, but it would have realistic graphics, and not topdown
