Topic: Zelda wii u comfirmed release date?

So I was searching for faceplate no.55 for my recently purchased new 3ds. I searched for zelda and zelda wii u is on top of the page. I states 31/3/2017for the release date. You should stop trusting them.

While there is a very small chance the game will be launched at the end of the year there is no doubt in my mind that the game would in no way see a release a month and a half after E3. The game won't even be there in playable form at the very least.

it says 31/3/2017 though. Besides it probably is a placeholder release date anyway until the actual one is known.

I'm betting on a 2016 release myself.

It's a placeholder, nothing to be excited about. No retailers would have any more of an idea when Zelda U is coming out than we do. I'm going to guess a Summer 2016 release date myself.

Here's hoping it will be, but seeing as the game is skipping this years E3 and Zelda games tend to be released closer to the end of year, I fear its even further away. At the worst case, Zelda U could be Ninty's heavy-hitter for the Holiday season of 2016.

Are we sure it's skipping E3? I'd be surprised not to have more mention of it, even if it's just another trailer.

It's gonna be released in the 2016 holiday season. Every single console Zelda since the Nintendo 64 has been delayed to the next year, and all of them ended up released at the end of those years. I see no reason to believe this won't be the case here too.

Definitely holiday 2016 at the earliest. They always have one E3 to show it off properly, and since it's not this year's, it's definitely next year's

Not that I expect anything at all but "not showing" could simply mean "not on the showroom floor". They could still release a trailer and I don't think anyone would be upset if they did. It wouldn't be out of the question given we've already been shown some footage. Unless of course the game has changed so much that they really can't show anything.....

Nintendo won't release such a big title in March. It will be a holiday title, presumably November/December 2016.

They not gonna show zelda this e3 i think they said so they probably wait until next year e3 to show both nx and zelda.

Apr-Jun is another big Ninty release window, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Smash Bros, Mario Galaxy 2 etc all have had releases around that time.

Yeah I can't see saying. "2015" and then having an end of 2016 release, that seems a bit much.

Yeah, who knows? If it's a May/early 2016 title, we'll probably see some Zelda footage. If we don't get anything, I'll place my bets on a holiday 2016 title.

I mean, I would expect that the game wouldn't release any later than November 2017...

just so you know, don't ever trust a Retailer online about these Release Dates until Nintendo confirmed that date themselves
other then that, i doubt if anything i think its a Holiday title for next year
