Topic: YouTube and Mario Kart 8

One of my MK8 uploads got automaticly flagged by Youtube. It's one of those unanticipated concequences of doing something new Anyway i filed a dispute,

This video uses the copyrighted material at issue, but with the appropriate license or written permission from the copyright owner.

Explanation

The video is made from within the Mario Kart 8 video game by Nintendo and uploaded by the game, in accordance with Nintendo's intended usage of this feature. I believe that I am therefore licenced and permitted to have the video on my youtube account, including the audio as generated by Nintendo's Mario Kart 8 for this particular video.

I have a good faith belief that the claim(s) described above have been made in error, and that I have the right(s) necessary to use the contents of my video for the reasons I have stated. I have not knowingly made any false statements, nor am I intentionally abusing this dispute process in order to interfere with the rights of others. I understand that filing fraudulent disputes may result in termination of my YouTube account.

You're right, in the Terms & Conditions before you upload you have to agree that you are uploading the video according to Nintendo's usage policy.

am I the only one to make a youtube account for MK8

That's quite funny given you have to agree to Nintendo's policy before uploading it xD I have a feeling Nintendo might need to alert YouTube of MKTV so that this doesn't keep happening in future. Good luck getting your video dispute passed!
