Topic: You're gonna laugh... but I asked Bioware to give Wii U a chance at Mass Effect 4

Hahahah I bet tons of people are gonna laugh at me... but.... Bioware is asking fans of Mass Effect what would they like to see happen to ME4. Here's the link: http://surveymonkey.com/s/69HFZTS

I decided this was a chance for me to express to Bioware that I would love to see the Wii U get ME4. I sent in a somewhat lengthy paragraph explaining how I enjoyed ME3: Definitive Edition and that since ME4 is a totally brand new experience that it could work out well for Wii U owners, too.

I know... go ahead and laugh. I know its futile but I still voiced my opinion to Bioware. Remember when Square Enix created a survey for Kingdom Hearts 3? A good number of people asked for Wii U support, too. We know the chance of Wii U owners getting KH3 is incredibly small but we still asked and voiced our opinion.

And in hindsight... Its actually kinda sad that I even have to do this. I mean... I luv my Wii U but these are the times where I honestly wished the Wii U was more powerful. A great game can be made with bad Specs but dang..... Its games like Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts 3, Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V, and now Mass Effect 4 that makes me HOPE that Nintendo's next system is one powerful sonofaconsole that can handle anything.

In the end... I guess this is just another "I wish 3rd party support was better for Wii U" thread.

See, you purchased the wrong console. Nintendo has always been about first party games. Everyone thought the WiiU was dead. Then Mario Kart 8 came out. Then e3 happened. Nintendo is not the console you are looking for if you want third party titles. Nintendo's strength is in their fantastic first party games.

Even if it is likely to get nowhere I don't see why people would laugh at reaching out to game developers. As said though; Nintendo aren't great at the third party support, and it generally isn't a good idea to buy a Nintendo console if third party is primarily what you're looking for. Do of course post if you happen to get any response from them.

I luv my Wii U. I'm having so much fun with it. Its just... there are times where I honestly wished it was more powerful.

I am getting a PS4 too by the way.

But still, why can't we have both? It's sad that you have to own a X1 or a PS4 alongside a Wii U because of the fact that there's not as much 3rd party support or because you really want to play the next KH3 or FF15 or ME4 but oh hey not coming to Wii U so unless you have second system (which a hell of a lot people can't afford) tough luck? :/

We can't have both because companies want a life-and-death situation based on the success of every major release.

Except maybe people who aren't dumb, like From Software or CD Projekt Red, maybe they'll actually care. I'd buy a Dark Souls or Blood Bourne on Wii U, that'd be great.

well I did the survey too and also requested for the Wii U support. :3 hopefully we see a mass effect 4 later on! But I'm with you that I might get a Ps4 later on because of FF15 AND KH3 but it still kinda pisses me off though >_< a system should be bought based off what's unique to that console not so you can play a game that's not available to the current gen console you already own U-U.

You can ask Bioware all you want, the last word is with EA.

Mass effect 4 is coming?!! Meh the series is overrated anyway.

Its just..... it gets so frustrating sometimes because I feel like there are some 3rd party games that could honestly do well on Wii U but Western developers don't wanna do it. I mean, I get the hesitation of making a game for Wii U but its still not fair.

Part of the problem is that last gen is staying relevent longer than past generation switches. So as a developer they make 360/PS3 version cause they have the largest install base, then you make X1/PS4 version to learn the technology for the future and satisfy the 360/PS3 fanbase that has already moved on. With the Wii U 3rd Parties would have to create a fanbase for their games which is harder so they don't want to put in the effort. Plus how unlikely is it for a Wii U owner not to own 1 of the other 5 systems 3rd Parties develop for? (360/PS33X1/PS4/PC) So they can reach maximum customers with minimum effort

3rd parties need to get this crazy notion that, get this, if they tried with this Wii U port and actually advertised it, it might actually be... SUCESSFULL?!

But I will say that I wish we'd gotten the full Mass Effect Trilogy instead of just 3. Oh well, considering how buggy Mass Effect was on the PS3, maybe it's for the best...seriously, it was barely playable...

You know something i remember in 2011,when nintendo showed its system .And there was a developers interviews video,they were talking about how the wiiu will be amazing,finally a controller thats worth making games for .And so on them kissing up to nintendo saying that they will makes games for it and stuff. After they all left saying they will makes games that never showed up on the system.All im saying don't even think abut third party games coming to the wiiu, cause it won't happen.

If Cyberpunk is anything, and I mean anything like Deus Ex, I'd definitely want it on Wii U.

I really enjoyed the 3rd party games I played on Wii U. I honestly enjoyed them and to see them just walk away from the console.... just really hurts, y'know? I really had fun with AC4 on Wii U and to see that Ubisoft won't even consider putting a freaking AC game on Wii U just HURTS. I love my Wii U and all the games I have for it. Its just sucks to see the 3rd party support just diminish like this.
