I have a lot of ideas for a zelda game. Here, you can write yours to share with others and not fear judgement

Do you like videogames? If so, you must know
It's dangerous to go Alone.

I think you got this all wrong. Your on a forum. There will be plenty of judgement.

No annoying sidekick is top of my list unless it involves hunting down Tingle, Navi & Fi to slaughter them.

Am I the only person in the world who didn't mind Navi?
But Fi and Tingle are the worst. Well, not Majora's Mask Tingle, but Wind Waker Tingle, yet I still hate Fi more.

And am I the only one who felt no emotion when Fi went back into the sword to sleep forever?

the good old Zelda formula but super power Hack and Slash in boss fights, tired of killing most bosses in less than 50 hits(and the battles as they are now get even more repetitive than Hack and Slash after a while)

I want:
A boss that lasts for like an hour.
A story that isn't resolved in one game.
The return of the mask concept.
An RPG level of character development (I understand that this would result in a very linear game).
More sword selection.
Return of the magic meter.
More types of arrows in 3D and 2D games.
Return of New Hyrule (Spirit Track's setting)
Return of the World of the Ocean King (Phantom Hourglass's setting)
More sidequests such as the ability to form a musical group.

That's it for now.

I had a dream for an entire Zelda game in one night but if I told people they would stone me, stab me and beat me with sticks and finally burn me at the stake

maybe a zelda boss that doesnt have an apparent weak or any weak spot. I would have liked the ghirahim fights if he had sword moves you had to block with your sword, not u attack and he defend

How about they take all the ideas used and make a massive open world Zelda game. With added DLC to unlock new dungeons and areas.

For instance. The game starts underground where all civilization is stuck from some terrible catastrophe. The only exits above ground were closed to prevent a great evil from reaching the people. Eventually through playing the game you open up some of these passages to gain access. Emerging up out on the tips of mountains and large land masses only to see the sun blacked out and a huge ocean all around you with creatures everywhere. Eventually you get a boat to sail the seas to find other areas/dungeons etc. After accomplishing certain objectives you get to drain whole areas of water leaving more areas to explore above ground.. There could also be sky cities and you can eventually fly to them like Skyward. Or mountains so high you need to fly to reach them.

This would allow for all types of areas and variety in the game. To allow proper progression just use difficulty. For instance when you first emerge out of the ground and the sun is black the enemies would be all over the place and tough. You eventually find caverns leading down further into the ground to dungeons where volcanic or even evil forces are spewing blackness into the sky. As those bosses are defeated those areas above ground begin to get sunlight allowing exploration above.

Also I feel the Zelda formula is growing stale. They should introduce some new mechanics and ideas to the series.

Underground setting has always been one I would like to see. We had Land,Water, and sky so its time to delve in to the depths of the earth and have a Zelda game there.

How in the world that sounds like Fallout 3 I will never know. First off it will be a Zelda game and play like a Zelda game. Plus the world wasn't destroyed by a nuclear fallout. No destroyed cities etc. Other then being forced to live underground I see no other connection. My idea is basically the conclusion they have done land, water and sky so next would be underground caverns. Then combining underground with everything else to make a huge world. Once you are playing the traditional Zelda game there is no way anyone would say "hey this is like Fallout 3". Very little connection between the two.
