I hadn't bought any DLC before I got my Wii U. I bought the first DLC pack for Pikmin 3 and I think it was money well spent. I'm waiting for the next DLC pack which offers completely new levels. Definitely buying that one. I also got Luigi U. Worth the price in my opinion since they're offering same amount of levels as New Super Mario Bros. U already did but for smaller price. Haven't bought anything else yet but I've liked everything I've gotten. And free DLC is always nice to have.

As long as it's not as overpriced as the Fire Emblem stuff I'm good. $8 for a Zelda dungeon? Count me in! I think DLC should be priced similar to the game. For example, if the Zelda game has 8 dungeons for $60, that's $7.50 per dungeon, so maybe $8 for a DLC dungeon?
That's such a bad way to price how much a DLC should cost in your head. Plus if Zelda does get any real DLC it would be in a format similar to New Super Mario Bros where its large scale.
On the note of DLC the game I think does it perfectly is Mass Effect 2. Mass effect 2 came had a ton of post release DLC of varying scale in

The DLC is made that it intergrates itself rather you;ve beaten the game or not with the dialouge and encounters changing based on if your done with the story mode or not. The only dlc that I feel should be completed after the game is beaten is The Arrival since its a lead into the third game.
Mass Effect 3 on the Other hand is the complete opposite with from ashes being day one dlc despite it being pretty essential to the game's story. Similarly Levithian should have been in the main story as well since it clears ton about the reapers but it shows to go how EA rushed the game out. Omega and Citidal are pretty cool despite citiadel being a obvious fan service for fanservice sake story.

Personally, I think some DLC should be stand alone on the eShop. Instead of the Turnabout Reclaimed DLC for Phoenix Wright, you should be able to download it from the eShop for the same cost even if you have not already downloaded the main game.
Same for the New Super Mario Bros. 2 coin rush courses. Download them from the eShop even if you don't own the cartridge at no extra cost.
