I was very impressed with Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U, with those being the two games I have so far.
The GamePad has a ton of potential, I really like the concept, it just comes down to how not only Nintendo, but other developers use it. Of what we've seen as far as upcoming games, I'm very excited for what Nintendo has planned for the rest of the year and beyond.
My only complaint has to be little things like error codes and user interface issues.
Same with the user interface issues. I only got Nintendo Land and NSMBU right now but I got NFS and MH3 coming up soon. I mainly play my Wii games on it as I am rediscovering them.
Inviting some friends over for some Nintendo Land is the best way to tame the hater that lies in them.
So I got a Wiimote. The multiplayer in Nintendo Land is significantly awesome!
Still, Wii U is...alright. Still my least favorite Nintendo console.
I like to think you're basing this off hardware, OS, and overall feel rather than comparing the libraries of systems that have completed their life cycle.

Yes, actually.
Yeah, the lack of games bugs me, but the system just came out. I can forgive that. Over all though. It's just not too special to me.
I have to say I'm liking it a whole lot more than the Wii, and I guess the maybe the GC (though the GC boot-up sequence is still the best thing ever). I like the controller, and I like the dashboard. All it lacks is games, and that's what's killing me. (I need MH already )

I'm overall disappointed with the system myself. Menu's take awhile to load, my system freezes regularly (almost everyday I play, sometimes more than once it will freeze and I am left to unplug it!) since launch, seeming lack of support from other developers, low gamepad battery life, and I don't really like how the eshop is set up. I know the system is still very young and Nintendo is a great innovator but I can't help but think they tripped out of the gate here with the Wii U. These may be my last few days with the system as I am having thoughts of getting rid of it for now......
I play the Wii U daily. People need to buy more games not just Nintedo titles.
Have Batman and Black Ops 2 on both Xbox and Wii U and prefer the Wii Versions.
I think how much you like the Wii U depends on these factors,
1) Do you like Off TV Play
2) Do you like local multiplayer and have people to play with - Nintendoland is brilliant with 4/5 players and games like Black Ops2, Sonic Transformed and Nano Assualt support 2 player no splitscreen which is great.
3) Have you bought 3rd party ports - Ignore the bs about them being inferior versions. The frame rate drops are generally in cut scenes and don't affect gameplay, and you have all the extra features of the gamepad

I think you might need to send it in if it freezes everyday!
Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

Wii U is a decent system so far. Haven't pick up no games since New Super Mario U. Guess I gotta wait till Spring and Summer for some games, I gotta say the best thing on it right now is the Internet Browser, and Miiverse time to time.
Follow the PS4 announcement I'm pretty sure my console set-up will be the same as last gen. I'll play the Wii U games as they come in, but the PS4 will have the innovations and features that I actually enjoy using, and so it will be my main home console.
Be interesting to see if Nintendo responds to the PS4 announcement in some way.
I think/hope Nintendo's response is going to be all the sweet games we see at E3.
Super Smash Bros. 4 (released in 2014)
Super Mario U (released late 2013 or early 2014)
Mario Kart U (released 2013)
Retro Studios next title (Star Fox i hope)
Some sweet eShop games
Some shocking 3rd Party support (Metal Gear maybe?)
Plus all the games they have already announced getting release dates (hopefully before E3)
Pikmin 3
The Wonderful 101
Bayonetta 2
the list goes on
