You die from a single zombie tackle? There should of been a game play element thrown in where, you know, can maybe fight for your life and throw the zombie off if you're lucky. Still incredibly interested in the Survival horror aspect...Seems like an awesome breath of fresh air instead of the never ending mindless First Person shooters that are taking over the first person genre. And i like games HARD and radical, so it's an insta' buy regardless of the mixed opinions. But that Tekken? Hmmm.Ya, I've got to snag it! Shall be nice on my 60" Plasma in Surround Sound.

Ya, you die from one zombie tackle with no hope after, and you can't even pause and quit real quick. It still counts. The characters are slow, weak, and helpless. You can't use anything as a weapon like pipes you could rip off buildings and stuff like that.
As for your setup, you got a good one. I just have a PS 3D display that counts as a Wii U purchase, since I'm using it for all my Wii U(which doesn't support 3D sadly, yet...). I have a 5.1 surround system, but it only takes optical out so my Wii U is not 'hooked up' fully yet... I do plan on getting a newer reciever with 1.4 HDMI, maybe bluetooth, 600 watts soon, but stuff is expensive as s*** if you get any better than the minimum. All I need is the minimum on mine(that's up to date of course), but I don't have any iPods, bluetooth devices, or anything over 5.1, so I'll be out $230, in a couple weeks... Oh well.

Oh ya, I just got back from Best Buy, and brought back a Wii U transport bag by Rocketfish($50), and a Pro controller($41) that was an open box item so I got $9 off regular price, plus a $5 off coupon I had... I got the transport bag even though it might sound like a ripoff, because it really is the best option carrying around the console with CLASS. Haha. It has enough compartments for all the hookups, the console, remotes, games, and I have a Wii bag from launch still, so if I need to carry more stuff, I'll just use that. So now I have a fancy bag, and a white pro controller to go with the black one I already had. Yahoo!

I downloaded Nano Assault Neo a couple of days ago. 85MB means it was much quicker to download than Nintendo Land. Very impressed thus far: satisfying straight-up arcade-style action.
I'll be curious to see how the pricing shakes out. With retail downloads ranging from £30-55 right now £8-12 seems like a good contrast, but will they get the right sales momentum? Nintendo isn't being as restrictive with pricing I understand and I don't think anyone would benefit from games costing only a couple of quid even on iOS, but £5 games doesn't seem impossible. It will be interesting to see what develops. All I know is I can't see getting Zombi U before February at the current price so I see more indie games in my immediate future!

Well looking at the WaraWara Plaza a fair amount of downloadable titles are on show. Not sure how much that reflects how many copies have sold or how much people are playing it but I think it says something. For example Trine 2 has been on the front page every day I've had the Wii U and Nano Assault has appeared on it about 50% of the time yet I haven't seen some retail games at all yet. I think they've got the balance right.
........ and I also got Nano Assault Neo

There's so much to play right now - I was planning on getting black ops 2 day 1, but ended up enjoying nintendo land solo much and also playing trine2 a lot. I've just received new super mario bros, so that one will have to wait till next month or so.
I predict the online for black ops 2 to slowly grow huge as I can't imagine others not in a similar position.

I want that Nyko UBoost battery pack ... Gives ya 10 hours batterylife apparently ... God I'm sick of constantly having 2 charge the bloody thing.
You can turn the brightness down on the Gamepad to improve battery life. I can get over 4 hours of NintendoLand in my bed

1. Later in the game you get a syringe and virus stuff that you collect off of dead zombies. This item stops zombies killing you when they grab you and instead you now have the chance to fight back and also this instantly kills the zombie.
2. WiiU is fully 3D compatible from day one. Assassins Creed 3 fully supports full 3D on both the TV and the Gamepad.

AC3 does 3D on the TV, too? I thought it just did 3D using colored glasses on the game pad, but not 3D on the TV... Oh well, I'll look into it more. I just hope they do it for every game they can, and not just this one.

I have been trying to figure out if ACIII Wii U does Stereoscopic 3D on the TV too. I found this image but don't know if it is for the GamePad only.

I just looked it up, and it seems like it's only for the gamepad, using the colored 3D glasses. It seems like they would use stereoscopic on the TV along side the option to play it on the gamepad(colored glasses), but it doesn't appear so... Is there anyone with AC3 that can confirm it plays 3D on the TV, and not just the gamepad? I know Wii U can do stereoscopic 3D, so they need to use it if they can, especially for games that use it on other consoles.

Just keep playing the game, you don't start with everything at your disposal.
